I love the blob and its color. It’s so easy to see in the sky too. I’ve done a little bit of slope soaring. When you were flying with the eagle or whatever bird it was, that was the greatest compliment you could get. The birds are the experts we learn from them .
Hi guys! I'm from the Beach in Sothern California in the United States! I love this channel and I just subscribed. I want to buy the two models, the BLOB and the SAS APACHE Most of the planes here now are electric and that is nice but I prefer 2CH slope planes with out motors, some places here you can not have power on the plane. I looked up the site for NJR and I am trying to set up an account Thank you guys for the great videos, I will be checking your channel often! Daniel
9mins 35 is that a PMP Bedlam?! Really rare to see them now , or is it a Synergy? I would love to see footage of that flying to see what my one could do in the hands of someone more skilled.
Yes that’s a Bedlam. He’s had it for years and it occasionally appears in my videos. Next time Josh abs I are in the slope with a decent wind I’ll get some video of it for you.
@@crazzysk8er147 yes the Stan Yeo EPP gliders are great, its a shame they are not made anymore as they are perfect for learning on, there is a big hole in the market for them. I have to scratch build my ones.
@@richw0123 your right there is a big gap in the market for them I believe stan only discontinued the epp models was due to increased epp foam prices. But at least his plans for them are available
A good selection of models and nice to see the wind eventually picked up. What cameras were you using, seem pretty good. Was that bird ` A Kite` ... Thanks again.
Camera for filming others flying is a Sony FDR AX53 Handycam. When I film myself flying it’s a head mounted GoPro Hero 7. Yes the bird was a red kite. Glad you enjoyed my video.
@@flyingtonyw the later GoPro cameras have great stability so the footage isn’t bouncing around all over the place. And filming in 4K means that when editing I can zoom in digitally by 50% at least without loosing any quality, which I can’t do at 1080p. If I didn’t the glider would look to small in the shot.
@@A470RCSoaring Thanks, I really appreciate this. The Old SAS Blob also looked good and well visible in it`s nice bright colour. Nice to see one in the air.
That video was a while ago but I don’t think any of the models flown that day had ballast. I only have one model that can add ballast and that one didn’t fly that day.

Thanks for that...... I`ve heard other good reports for using Hero 7 as headcam. I just have a Turnigy, maybe I need to up the quality on it. Thanks.

Nice to meet you, about the aircraft flying from about 10 minutes 11 seconds in the video, how much weight is loaded? Thank yo

If it wasn't for so many chemtrails, I could actually enjoy the models against the blue sky. You're getting clobbered.
Chemtrails?
