FVK Signal flies again & fly tipping on our slope

- In this video I've finally got around to completing repairs to the FVK Signal and so that gets a good shake down flight.
Also, fly tippers have been illegally dumping waste at the bottom of the slope instead of paying to dump it at the official tip.
Take a quick look through perhaps there is a paper or receipt wit a name on it to help identify the culprit, hopefully you won't loose access to that site because it's not the hobbyist DUMPING up there
Just getting back into slope soaring after a very long lay off, re using my very old '35' radio gear and an old Ace soarer. Regarding fly tipping, I reported finding a massive amount of builders rubbish on the 'unamed road' which leads to the meio, just around a month ago. I chased this complaint up and to be fair to Caerphilly council, it was cleared within a fortnight. The people who carry out this fly tipping have very low or near zero morals and even lower IQ readings. Be great to meet up and pick up on your (and Josh's) expertise. Looking at your videos It looks as though I am not pushing out far enough beyond the slope, worrying about loss of lift I guess.

@@A470RCSoaring Thankyou Steve, much appreciated. I have managed to avoid joining any Facebook groups up to now, for various reasons, but I think I may have to reconsider if it opens up access to soaring groups with the valuable knowledge/experience behind them.
Hiya Steve, as you know I'm a farmer as well as a regular flyer. I couldn't agree more with your observations on fly tipping. Totally unacceptable. I'm glad you understand its sometimes a thankless task we farmers have, as custodians of the countryside. Fly tipping is the ultimate insult from people who don't give a f#@k. Makes me mad as hell when I see it. Fortunately my own farm is well off the beaten track. So its not a problem I've ever had to deal with. But you are right in what you're saying. Your farmer will be furious having to clear this up. Because no doubt the local Council won't want to know as its common land. I can't help but sympathise with the poor sod. Fair point Bout the fly tipping.Seems a common problem in south wales.I feel its the builders also that are dumping as there to lazy to get there arse in gear and do there job right.
