Taal lake used to be connected to the sea through the Pansipit River that empties into Balayan Bay. In 1754, the volcano erupted for 6 days narrowing the river and trapping the salt water fishes. The eruption destroyed the town of Taal (I can show you the ruins of the old town of Taal). The town of Taal was rebuilt 8kms on the shores of Balayan Bay. It is now a heritage town (like Vigan, Ilocos Sur) where you can find numerous 19 century houses that are now museums.

i have a friend who likes to go to Baguio even when it's raining because it gets extremely cold and that's how she likes it. i personally think it's miserable. glad the rain stopped for a while when you were in Tagaytay. pineapple pie is my favorite but quality varies. hope you can try a good one someday.

Hello fellow Justin. ive been living in las Pinas for almost 5 years. I just got caught in a typhoon in Zambales . I rode my motorcycle 11 hours in the rain to get around rhe flooding un Bulacan. Still got some great fishing 🎣 in. If your into the besch and fishing, come along on our next trip.

Farmer’s Table! One of my favorite places to eat at in Tagaytay - but not for the unhealthy dishes haha. I’d rather have bulalo elsewhere. The last time Taal volcano erupted was in January of 2020. The ash fall even reached Metro Manila. The whole area was on lockdown and then 2 months later, pandemic lockdown happened as well.

I remember taal volcano eruption like it was yesterday...we're from around 18km from the volcano, we heard like a loud thunder...some of the evacuees from near taal went here (around a thousand if i'm not mistaken) and we assisted them...they stayed in schools and there are a lot of relief goods coming everyday...
By the way so lucky having a charming gorgeous beautiful mum and a lovable girlfriend enjoy staying to our country the Philippines...stay with our country your such a lovely people
