Well then. Just watched the sponsored ad, came here and have now bought one. Didn't even have any intention of buying one. That a great marketing strategy. Never realised that I wanted a synthesiser until now. Never used scince music class at school over 30 years ago. I have way to much money at the moment to spend on things like this. The joys of being a chef that owns his own restaurant.
I adore the wavestate, it's amazing. My only complaint is the push-button on switch at the back. Odd choice. In a studio with multiple synths I leave them all on and switch the entire studio off at the wall, I don't want to have to go round the room powering everything up individually.
I will eventually be purchasing this as well as the Modwave mk2, the Opsix mk 2 and the Microkorg 2. I started off with the Volca Drums, Keys and Modular and absolutely love the sound so bought the mixer as well. I cant wait to dive into the next step up
Does it have a better keybed or the same as the original? Imagine how good the Wavestate could have been with quality keybed and aftertouch....missed opportunity Korg! I'd buy it in an instant and happily pay extra!
The Wavestate has more modern samples and features, but the original Wavestation (EX) is a more professional product with better keys, better audio-dynamics and the all import combi-mode which made Korg famous.
Wow!!! They must be selling like hot cakes now then!! You'll love it when you eventually get it. I bought a Deepmind 12 last June, but since I got the Wavestate, I've hardly touched it. If, you have already got another keyboard with more keys, you can hook it up to that with Midi cables for extra keys. I emailed Korg to ask if it was possible, and I got a reply straight away saying it can be. I have a PA600 Arranger, which is why I asked.

Best demo on this product bar none.
Luke is the best demonstrater going. And Korg makes the best keyboards and VSTs going
Uvi does some incredible VSTs as well

I’m buying one as soon as the MKII comes as rack.

Great demonstration, thanks

Great synth. I preordered Wavestate module recently. Could you tell me when they gonna be available in the UK . I just can't wait 😀😀. Thank you
They're already available mate. I got mine from Andertons Music at the end of December.
@@Timetraveller2208 I checked every online store in the UK, Andertones as well and they are not available. Preorder only.

Does the wavestate native plugin require the hardware to run on a computer?
My question is there an effect (reset button) my older machines don’t have 😅
Hi, are these sounds available for the "old" wavestate ?
from the website for the MK2: "Updated sounds and software keep it fresh (and these are available for the original wavestate, too)"

Can owners of the original Wavestate upgrade with software to the MK2 (96 polyphony?) , or does the MK2 have all new hardware ?
looks like a sticker over the old logo.
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
