Thank you so very much for this video mate!! I've had mine since a few days after Christmas.... But even after watching initial videos about it, the uploaders have only very briefly skimmed over accessing these instruments. So, when I wanted to do this myself.... I was buggered! So, thanks for creating this video solely on this specific question. I'll be writing this down in a few minutes. I feel like I've got a new synthesizer now... BTW, I'm much older than you, do much appreciated!! Subbed n liked!!
Hi Timetraveller! Thank you for watching! That was exactly what happened to me. I figured maybe it would help. Have an excellent day. I hope I can hear some of your music. God bless you.
Thanks from here in the UK..........An old guy returning to the electro music scene after a long hiatus....At least I now know how to go through all the presets.
Thanks for posting, very clear, step by step explanation. Just got my Wavestate, of course there's a learning curve (as with all synths) but this one is particularly labyrinthian in its myriad selection menus, submenus and processes . . . but well worth the effort.
Ah thanks so much! I'm glad it was useful. The Wavestate is kind labyrinthian (great word 😂). But it won't be long before you're zooming all over the place. ❤
Hi great work, just a question on the wavestate iam struggling to hear every now and again the single sounds, i will find them but once iv gone to a different performance program and return to single sounds they all tend to be affected with some kind of effect and frustratingly i keep switching it on and off by the power but its still the same when i listen to single sounds what am i doing wrong it is a hard synth to get my head around thankyou
Hi Paul! I always enter Single Multisample mode through the Init Performance. So to get the same SM mode sound each time you can just press Perform, turn your Value wheel all the way to the left to Init Performance, select Wave Sequence, arrow left to Mode, turn your Value wheel one click to the right, arrow right, press enter, and then Shift + Right arrow. That will put you at the top of the category list for the SM mode library of sounds. Hope this helps! If not, shoot me a question. I'll be getting into more and more advanced editing as we progress. Like you said Korg just put a ton of functionality in the unit and a lot of it is accessed through menus
Nice. Short. Impressive. This is not a synth. In a synth, you first look for a single cycle saw, square, sine, triangle wave. Here we have a Rompler. Here we look for a variety of samples from different instruments, pianos, organs, flutes, drums and so on. And how to "connect" them in layers and in "time", which is the outstanding feature here. Like a microscopic DJ.
Ive always been so fascinated with keyboards and drum machines like an MPC One. Problem is i have not one musical bone in my body and it makes me sad. Wish i knew more about music in general
Music is the easy part, BGG. There's basically timing and pitch. And the first seven letters of the alphabet. I'm overdue to put out another Wavestate video, but I'm going to try to get that together asap. After that I'll do a quick and dirty music course
Clear and straight to the point. So helpful. Thank you!
I'm glad it was useful for you! 🙂

I use the Editor / Librarian, pick 4 preset layers, bend them to my will, and use a ton of FX.
Nice!
thanks
My pleasure ❤
