      Thanks for sharing your experience with the Costco green tea - it sounds delicious with the added matcha and honey. If you're looking for other brands, I'd recommend trying out
      1. Rishi Organic Sencha
      Rishi's Organic Sencha is my top choice for a pure green tea. It has perfectly balanced vegetal, umami flavors characteristic of quality Japanese sencha. Very fresh and aromatic.
      2. Numi Jasmine Green
      For flavored green tea, Numi's Jasmine Green stands out. It uses real jasmine blossoms for light, fragrant floral notes. Numi uses quality ingredients and ethical sourcing.
      Rishi and Numi offer exceptional Japanese sencha and jasmine green teas respectively. Their attention to sourcing and production creates authentic flavors. These two are my favorites for high quality pure and flavored green teas.

      Does green tea have oxalates?

    • @SimpleHealthHabits101
      @SimpleHealthHabits101  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@underated17 Yes, Green tea does contain oxalate, which is a natural compound found in many plant foods. The oxalate content in green tea can vary depending on factors like the tea type, brand, and preparation method. On average, green tea can contain anywhere from 2 to 6 milligrams of oxalate per 100 grams.

    • @underated17
      @underated17 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SimpleHealthHabits101 I wonder if oxalates are harmful or if the benefits of green tea outweigh the cons.

    • @SimpleHealthHabits101
      @SimpleHealthHabits101  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great question! Oxalate is generally not harmful in moderate amounts, but may pose issues for those prone to kidney stones. The numerous health benefits of green tea, like antioxidants and potential disease prevention, make it a healthy choice for most people when consumed in moderation.
