- Today I visit Chipotle to see if they have adjusted the portion sizes based on all the backlash they were receiving a couple months ago for skimping on their portion sizes. I went into my local Chipotle and just ordered a regular chicken burrito bowl with all of my usual toppings and did not ask them to give me any additional scoops of any kind. I just let them dictate how much they were going to put in my bowl.
How did they do? Was I happy with the results? Do I ENDORSE this bowl? Please watch and find out.

It sort of is when you have managers scrutinizing food Inventory. Folks probably get in trouble when things are less than they deem acceptable.
When u order online and pick up they really skimp on the food because your not watching them

Shane Dawson did a documentary to see it the rumor of Chipotle skimping on portions was true. He tested drive through/delivery-pickup at counter- and eating inside. The rumor was true! Drive Through/Delivery the portion size was incredibly smaller (he even had a food scale to measure the weights). Eating there they give you way more. I can't remember about pick-up. Also he tested the rumor is you tell them you are a youtuber/tik-toker/food reviews they give you the MOST even more then eating there since people are viewing it and want to lure people in. I'd just tell them everytime u go who you are and what you do to ensure you always get the most!
It probably will vary from location and some employees are more heavy handed than others. I've experienced both at my local store in
Massachusetts . Always go with a bowl over a burrito. You get more in a bowl.

Just take a walk down the cereal aisle in a grocery store. The boxes are so thin they barely stand up. Sensitivity to shrinkflation is understandable. I worked for a national restaurant chain for 20 years that was bonused partially based on lower food cost. Individual locations could possibly go against company policy and skimp on portions when trying to make food cost. Great video E!
Where i live in ohio its $5.50 just to add double steak .
I love how fresh everything tastes at Chipotle! I hadn't been there in a while for whatever reason, but I do enjoy the place from time to time. And now, with them offering portions like this that DO SEEM TO BE WORTH THE PRICE, sure, making another visit seems like a good idea. Great portion size from what I see in this video, though I can't speak for the portions they used to offer before as I honestly forgot and I haven't been in quite a while...
I love a bowl but the price goes up more...
I can't grab and eat it, I have to go home and add my own sour cream and cheese or else they charge for every little thang!
I used to enjoy the bowls at Chipotle. The last one I got, the food was stone cold and they skimped on ingredients. I quit going there for meals.
I always go into Chipotle and order in person and if i feel they are skimping on toppings i ask for them there on the spot and they give me more 🤷🏾♂️. Maybe they are skimping people who order online for pickup 🤷🏾♂️
For how bougie Chipotle is, you would think Chipotle would spring for packaged plastic ware for their customers instead of loose unprotected plastic ware.😂
I definitely get better portions in person but you can’t beat the price and the amount of food you get compared to the fast food places!

Been completely random experience for me in Illinois. Some bowls robust as yours was, other times still skimpy, once so bad I had to ask the preparer for more as it was being ‘filled.’ The key is to be vocal as it’s being prepared for you.

We ordered online, and they literally put enough toppings for tiny ass tacos in the bowl. It was the weakest f'n bowl ever. Full price for a quarter of what you'd get if you sat there and watched them. Chipotle can eat a bag of shit. Doubled their prices and fuck us on portions. And when you go in, they give you a weak ass scoop of protein. Should be a heaping scoop. Las Vegas Chipotle's are the worst.
It varies. You won't necessarily get the same amount every time. It depends on who is preparing your order, what their mood is at the time, and other potential factors.

Looks like they put as much “stuff” as they could to fit it in that bowl! 👍 I guess my question is are they doing this everywhere or did you just happen to be at a good one.
Just by looking at it, I was gonna say 75 or 76 pounds but if you say 100 I believe you. I haven't been there in a long time because we have mostly Moe's and Diablos and they're so good I have no motivation to drive the extra 10 minutes to Chipotle.

I don't know what Moe's you have been going to but I have been to several locations in the Orlando area and Sarasota over the last 20 years and they have gone down hill. The burritos used to be decent at Moe's and the colored nachos chips were solid. But once the chips went to regular and the bowls IMO have never been good at Moe's. Chipotle when they are done right and fresh are one of the tastiest out there.

People love making crap up! They were never “skimping”. They were also never changed for the small tortillas, when you spent at least $10 dollars.
Hey anime.. lol. Making stuff up. 2 locations charged me for the honey vinegarette AND the tortillas when I spent under $10. I even asked the manager and he said yes . They recently changed. Other locations might not have changed. Like this one I went to. Even though I spent over $10. That over $10 is not posted and was never told to me ever. So before you accuse people of making stuff up, might want to know facts. Why would I make things up in a random food review. Lmao thanks for the view and comment. But man.. enjoy your weekend. :)

One time a guy put like 4 pieces of steak on a bowl. When I asked for more he put i swear 1 more piece.
I'm guessing you haven't been going to Chipotle that long, because back in 2009 the burritos were almost twice the size that they are today.
