Same exact thing happened to me on my second paid job. Went replace the quick connect but learned what it really was. Now I have about 50 orings on board with a pick ready to swap out. Thanks for the video, keep doing the thing.
As a contractor myself, things happen and all you can do is work through it. I think you handled the situation very well, don't beat yourself up over something small like this. If your client was happy you did a good job.
Happened to me too. I was about 1.5 hours away from my house cleaning a gas station. Put them chem down and turned on the power washer and it sprayed everywhere. Couldn’t find a place nearby with the correct size O-ring so the day was a loss. Ordered a container of them and went back a few days later. Never leave home without spares now
Yeah, you did your first job 2 weeks ago, and now you have "everything figured out" heh. You don't know squat. You don't even deserve the name amateur !!!
I had the same thing happen to me with the O ring 1 week ago. I made the mistake of pulling the trigger when i didn't have a tip in the quick connect and it shot out into the grass and it was gone haha I went to home depot and picked up an O ring kit but couldn't get it to work so eventually I just bought a new quick connect for the gun and it worked great after. Shit happens haha
Well you learned the hard way right? Always carry 2 of everything, 2 hoses, more quick connects and O rings in 1/4" and 3/8" as well and always expect that there will be a failure...
I appreciate vids like these. Not just good cleans, but pitfall stories that help others take preventative measures 🙌🏾
@@RoyalFlush.PressurePros Gotta keep it real always ! 🦾 Thank you for the positive comment 💯🤝

Darn O-rings. Is this the same manufacturer that the Challenger used? No wonder it exploded.

Nothing about this story gave me an impression that the customer thought you were an idiot. Quite the opposite.
