the part where you hold down the image and drag it. It doesn't make that animation to where I can drag it. Is it a certain version or iPad in order for it to work?
Tap on the image once then tap and hold and it should work :) also make sure your iPad is updated

The only thing… I was searching for the one where you actually do it where it’s accurate, so it doesn’t look like a 5 year old did it. 😂 by the way, you can do this was Asa copy and paste too, also you can press and hold and then it gives you option “share” which it where you save it into album. But if you need it as a gag - this is good enough, if you actually want a more professional photo, with no background - then you need do it properly, so you don’t end up with parts cut off from the item you’re lifting.

So you might not be tapping on the image twice so I recommend trying it like this when you have the gallery open quickly tap on the image once then tap and hold and the animation should appear let me know if this works for you :)
I wonder why it doesn’t work on all photos or pictures . I have ipad 2021 pro
It works on most sometimes if the background is a little complex it doesn’t work

Hmm the most common issue is not tapping twice on the gallery window before tapping and holding on the image try it again let me know if this helps :)

I am using the latest versions of iPad, and Procreate but cannot get this to work. When I drag up the Photos icon from the dock, thru the blank page and over to the side I get the photos to open up but when I tap on a photo and drag it into Procreate they all go over! Are You using something else as well?
Nope, are you in split view or stage manager? Hold on the image until you see the animation then drag it into procreate until you see the green tick :)

Top right hand corner slide down to get your brightness and volume you’ll see an icon with a square and a few tiny squares that’s to go into stage manger mode this allows you to have multiple apps open at once similar to using a laptop :) For this trick it doesn’t matter which mode you’re in either split view or stage manger, does the animation show up when your hold down on the image you want to remove the background from? :)

Hey great question! It shouldn’t effect the image at all make sure your canvas has the correct dpi in Procreate:)

Hey sorry it didn’t work for you, try updating your iPads iOS and try again :) if that doesn’t work it might be only available on newer versions of the iPad

No it does not help it doesn’t work at all!!! You must be leaving some very important info out! If I open procreate and start a blank project then “swipe Up” and click on the photo app then long press the image it doesn’t separate form the background this is a BS tutorial \!
Tap once then tap and hold that’s the most common issue
