Have to say a big fat THANK YOU to Leong Jun Hao for bringing the beauty and joy back to watching badminton or me. My interest in watching badminton has been soiled by the stupid, arrogant, childish antics of the inconsistent Lee ZJ. In many instances, Leong has been dusted as an underdog and a no-hoper but each time he plays, he gives his all and most of all, uses his intelligence and analyzes hanges in play and tactics to try his very best to overcome his opponent like Ng Tze Yong does. Formerly it was pure joy watching Ng and since his taking his time off for medical reasons, I am glad Leong has emerged into the forefront to entertain and bring hope back to the Malaysian team. Thank you Leong. Thank you, Ng and waiting for your re-emergence into the limelight. And may that Lee grow up and mature and let humility replace his insipid displays of arrogance and inflexible play on court.

LJH showed fighting spirit till the end. It was worrying when he has thigh cramp/pain but he was determined to win and he won. JC can win with his aggressive play. He was the better player at the net and at the back with his strong smashes but he slowed down in the third set and that made the different.
