Li Shi Feng has a lot of potential!! I think he has very good smash and footwork and quickness. He has improved a lot now in terms of quickness and defence and of course attack which he was good from the start onwards. He needs to learn now deception. His smashes are predictable and predictable smashes are easy to defend no matter how power you put into it. Lin Dan also had powerful smashes and quickness in his feet. And he was good in defence too. What was different was his deceptive shots and predicting skills so I think Li Shi Feng has to improve in his deceptive shots from smash to net kills. Otherwise he will get hurt badly someday if he is too dependent on power and quickness only. He must learn from mistakes of Shi YuQi. Only power and quickness is not badminton. A player needs to have strong as well as deceptive attack and defence both. He will then become a complete player. Congrats for winning against a gold medalist winner Axelson. China as usual will win. But Jun Ho has exceeded all expectations to enter the final. If he wins, it’ll be the greatest achievement by a Malaysian shuttler in a long time but though am a Malaysian, I put my money on Shi Feng to beat Jun Hoe.

A win is a win in any tournament. Almost none of players at this stage is free from injury. At least no one will do a "shi q" by pulling out of a match
I think he was tired and didn't try his best in the last 6 points. His head was down most of the time and he played very loosely. Anyway, this tournament is not really crucial for him given he has already qualified for the world tour finals. But for LSF, a win will give him a very good chance to qualify for it.
