Those are good rockers. I've got the same on a 14:1 496ci engine turning 8k making 902fwhp. Been running 4 years now and I've o ly checked the lash twice with no adjustments necessary. I am using Comp stud girdles on Brodix RR-2s though. They have in fact declined a bit on their off the shelf and lower line of components, but I haven't seen any failures in their high line race stuff. You're good to go bud. Also, aluminum in the top end is more prone to failure. That's why you'll see a lot of blocks screened in the lifter valley.
I actually had to trim 1 rocker on both sides in order for my valve covers to fit....🙃 You are correct about the 454 being expensive...after thinking about all the money I spend I don't want to build again for a while haha
Maybe a 3/8" 0.135" wall or a 7/16" pushrod would've been a better choice.....if you're concerned enough with rocker stud deflection, concern yourself with pushrod deflection too.
Thats a Top Notch Build. Can't wait to see its First Start Up. Your Killing It EJ!!!

Been watching this build all year. Looking great. What's it going in? Started my 461 (30 over 454) this summer. Doing it a bit at a time like you.
It's going in a 94 chevy
