There's probably more places on the list of things we didn't see than the list of things we did! Time and tide wait for no one! Especially when you factor in the awful weather we've had!
What a wonderful pair you two or three including your four pawed friend or four includung your lovely vessel are. Love your fun and colorful descriptions. In the 70's my sister and i flew to Montreal from the U.S and then to Heathrow to visit my brother north of London at a photography school his wife there too. The four of us took a train to Glasgow and then spent two weeks drivibg around northern Scotland to Skye and Ulapool and the Kyle of Tongue .. Ben Nevis and Hope and south.. I have been a sailor all my life here and there met my wife on one of five Schooner cruise vacations on the Penobscot Bay in Maine (you would love its rugged rocky spruce lined isles) but i am probably too old and fragile to be climbing around on a sailnoat anymore. To be with you in spirit exploring another side .. a very special side of Scotland ..the High Seas of it insteafd of the Highlands. Your channel just came to me and i hope to be back after subscribing again and again. thank you all.. 😊.
Hi Bill and thank you for your beautiful comment, it has certainly warmed our hearts on a chilly North Eastern morning! We very much enjoyed our time in Scotland and you’re absolutely right, seeing her by sea gives a stunning perspective - there’s plenty more to come and we hope you enjoy it too! In our dreams we hope to one day see the East coast of US and Canada, they look like sailing paradises full of lovely people like you. We enjoyed a cup of tea this morning watching some of you songs, we loved them! We wondered if you would allow us to use a piece of ‘On Angel Wings Made of Canvas’ on our final episode when we’ll sail back to our home port. We’re not monetised or anything, but we can offer big thank yous, full credit to yourself and links in our descriptions! Fair winds Bill!
I wrote "Smiling Eyes" as a dedication to all the caregivers of the world and like Alfred Hitchcock I have two cameos behind a mask...pure coincidence that my second show came just as I myself was saying "Thank you" on the recording.. I wrote the song after spending a week in the hospital after a fall in April 2020 just as Covid 19 was invading the US...EnJoy and please like and share if you want. I will get nothing but happiness knowing some of their care and selfless possible exposure to the disease for others benefit and comfort will be realized.
Hello again, Bill. And a very merry Christmas. Thanks again for letting us use your song on our homecoming episode which is now live. I hope we captured the essence of On Angel Wings Made Of Canvas and stirred a few sailing memories for your good self. All the best for 2024 and fair winds.
Very enjoyable video. You deserve many more followers.
Than you so much for the lovely comment!
Oh you didn't stop at Rathlin Island. Ywey would have loved it. There's a fantastic bird sanctuary there that's well worth a visit.
