I've got a question. If you have a weapon with a mag sticking out it's not too good feeling on the back with it sticking out. How should I use a undermounted sling when this happens?

Hunting guns often have flush or tube mags.
Assuming right handed:
Put neck through sling, with sling on RIGHT shoulder.
Rotate gun until upside down, under left arm, like a purse, with butt stock forward, barrel back.
To use, grab grip with right hand whip it to your right shoulder.
Or, mount the sling to the top.
In my opinion: the best sling: a forearm only sling - mounts to LEFT forearm. Go to an appleseed shoot to learn how to use it.
