    Great video, thank you. Do you print the images/text mirrored onto the transfer paper?

    • @MakingTEES
      @MakingTEES  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi thank you and thanks for the question, when im using the ski I use the forever transfer rip software, which when you select which media you are using it will automatically print it the correct way you need, so I dont have to think about send it mirrored or anything like that

    Just curious, there seemed to be tape residue left after application (6:50). Does that come off when you do the final press?

    • @MakingTEES
      @MakingTEES  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      hi yes it does look like that its where the tape is pulled off the garment and pulls the fibres up into a different direction when I lint roll after they disappear

  • @Caseycalf
    @Caseycalf 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Does the heat resistant tape residue come off when washed? I noticed the darkish lines on the garment after it was cold peeled and also In your opinion does it have high washability? I am interested and doing my research on finding the right printer.

    • @MakingTEES
      @MakingTEES  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi yes the residue completely disappears and is not seen at all once washed, as with all processes as long as you follow the instructions and washing guide lines then yes you can get great washability from the garments, and you can increase that with rastorising the image which I have a video on.

    Hi , I have a HP printer that can use the ghost white toner, as an Oki is out of my price range. Do yo know if the ghost toner quality is as good and would you recommend it for people who cannot afford an Oki Thank you

    • @MakingTEES
      @MakingTEES  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, well I will be completely honest I have never used a HP printer so could not really comment or recommend it, all I would say is always buy what you can afford and make it work for you.

    Hello, thanks for the video! About how much to get the equipment (US $)? Where are the best places to buy it? How many tees did you ruin before you got the hang of it?

    • @MakingTEES

      Hi thanks for the question and thanks for watching the video, im based in the uk so not sure how much or where you get from in the USA, here is a link to my supplier (its not a affiliate link)

      Hi Davi, thanks for the question and yes the printer type does matter, to use this paper you need a laser white toner printer, unfortunately no other printer will work with it

    • @MakingTEES
      @MakingTEES  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that’s because the fibre’s are pulled up a bit when it’s pulled off it goes away with a rub or a first wash 👍

    How is the wash test?

    • @MakingTEES
      @MakingTEES  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi so rasterised and images or logos with good negative space wash better than very big solid un rasterised images, wash on a 30 inside out and you can get some good long lasting prints.

    Hello
    Which printer would you recommend?

    • @MakingTEES
      @MakingTEES  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi thanks for your question, we use a Oki 8432 wt pro so I can only comment on that its a great machine and works fantastically for us, what id recommend is set your budget and research all printers in that price range and look at the reviews for each and see what would work best for you, good luck 👍
