Last time I was there, wasn't a lot left, basically one house you could recognise as such, loads of landfill dumped on ground, such a shame it couldn't have been preserved, I remember going there as a child in the 1960s and there was still roofs on the row of houses
Keep meaning to get up there. Have been up Pitmiddle Woods via Seamaw Loch a couple of times but never gone right over. Think it's easier to get to going from Kinnaird side though.
The ruins are the Parsonage of Stylemouth and croft of Lochside. according to 6"OS map of 1865. If you had crossed the unsafe bridge at Buskhead and bear right there is the abandoned settlement of Wigginton. Lots of forgotten names.
