From online: Hill of Rowan, Glen Esk, Angus, Scotland, UK
The monument was constructed in 1866 by Fox Maule Ramsay, the 11th Earl of Dalhousie and 2nd Baron of Panmure in memory of seven members of his family.

Thanks for sharing, in case you are interested here’s some info on the monument. It is properly known as the Maule Monument and was built by the first Baron Panmure in 1866 to commemorate seven members of his family; it is also dedicated to Lord Panmure, Lady Christian Maule and Lady Ramsay Macdonald.

Just came across your channel, what an interesting monument, I wonder who put it there and why! I'm watching from Cyprus - I'm originally from the UK - my Grandfather was Scottish and I've always wanted to visit, he was always talking about it, but I never got a chance to get there, so video's like yours are wonderful to watch.

@@BKR it sure is. When I was a young lass I used to be up at dallbrack all summer there used to be a pony trekking centre there. My dad was blacksmith 👍

Hill of Rowan. Monument was erected by tenants of Lord Dalhousie? There is another monument St Andrew's Tower on path between Millden and Auchentoul.
