Depending on the cannon style you want be sure to check out my original 3 part build of the larger cannon depending on which one suits your wants/needs best!
Thanks! I'm looking forward to getting this smaller brother to the full length cannon all built. This one thankfully takes up less floor space :). Thanks for watching!
You shared a lot of great tips! I went through a lot of pain years ago trying to get paint to stick to a paint bucket until randomly learning about sanding + acetone. Looking forward to the second part.
It's funny, I should have looked it before I started on how to do things, but I find I enjoy attacking the problems I come across and come up with my own solutions as they are sometimes things nobody has thought of before, or times like this where it is pretty standard practice. I just noticed that with just sanding my paint was not sticking the way I wanted it to, if you look at the unpainted bucket you can see both black and white I was testing with to see how well it was bonding. It's always an adventure to say the least! Thanks for watching!
I LOVE this prop, Samhain! I keep staring at the amazing final paint job, and already I want to paint everything like this!!😂 (Do you think it’ll work for my flying saucer?!🛸 😁🤞)
Hey Fraidy! Yes the final color is awesome, I always love those metallic spray paints even if they are expensive as heck! I should do a flying saucer as a prop, that would be fun! Thanks for watching as always Fraidy!
I have been looking at this 3/4 complete cannon in my living room for a month now. I have to get it finished this week! Glad you enjoyed the video and hopefully you will enjoy the finished version as well!
I had wanted to get her to do more things on this prop, but the content is a bit complicated. I think I am going to find a prop she can build and let her do a whole video on her own. She is so excited whenever she has a chance to be involved so I do want to encourage her :) I'm sure my audience will enjoy hearing her take on a video!
SO Cool, I want one on my deck! I liked your other canon video too! Thanks for the great tip working with the foam. I had an idea to make an old Ships Anchor.
I have been tempted to, but I'm sure the pirate voice experts may have an issue when I use an "Arrr" instead of an "Yarr". If it helps I am usually listening to sea shanties as I am building in this theme! Thanks for watching :)
I love this. I've been wanting to make a canon prop for a long time.

Great job by you and your assistant!

The two builds have lots of similarities but very different outcomes. I’m looking forward to seeing them both complete! Thanks for watching 😀
It almost looks like an old bell
It 100% does, it looked like one so much I made a note as I was building it that I had to make a bell prop as it has that look to it!
You should have narrated this video in a pirate voice. 🏴☠ ARRRRR!!! 🏴☠
