    The eldians were in Marley and the rest of the world before the walls were formed. Maybe a million volunteered to protect their people forming the walls, and the 1.25 mil residents are the ones who chose to live in the walls.

    Probs pulled a Thanos and like, randomly picked a bunch of people. Don't forget the vast majority of the population on the island migrated in droves from a continent assumedly the size of Africa if not bigger.
    If we're in the business of theory crafting we could just say the civilisation that was already on the island wasn't established enough for such a massive surge in population and as a way to ease famine and set up protection a bunch were sacrificed to make the walls

      I've always thought the two flash back episodes in season 4 could have been their own season. Seeing the island react to the new information, seeing the volunteers teach them everything, and how Erens plot formed would have been great. Then, a whole season of them gallivanting around the world trying (and failing) to find allies would have been fun too.

    I always hated the idea of the Wall Titans coming out of nothing literally, because if that were true, there would never be a need for people to become titans, which means the whole plot makes no sense, so I'm glad Isayama confirm this, but I also hate that he uses the excuse that if there had been more pages available, this is prove that the ending was rushed, he could have easily done 1 more chapter, with everything more developed, there was no need to end at chapter 139 and a lot of controversy could have been avoided.

    • @BeyondTrash-xe1vs
      @BeyondTrash-xe1vs 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The industry is a bit more complex than just getting an extra page when you need one.
      I understand the sentiment, but we should also understand that Isayama did his best. He has no reason to sabotage his own story.
      If Isayama couldn't get an extra page or an extra few chapters, they're very well may have been extenuating circumstances that we will never know. He has earned the benefit of the doubt at least.

    4:50 It could just be that King Fritz considers dying as a Titan "in ignorance" under the same umbrella as the people in the walls. And this completely fits with the anti-natalism that makes Zeke so agree with King Fritzs ideology. Zeke is also fine with transforming innocent people into Titans as long as it helps in fulfilling his Euthanization plan, eventough he feels pity for them, they are still ultimately unaware and ignorant to what happens to them as Titans.
    Also Fritz was fine with them being eaten. He tought his people needed to die for the greater good. Turning thme into Titans would actually be a blessing in his eyes as they die without any pain.
    Also, the number of Titans in the walls is easily explained by the fact that it is stated during "Declaration of War" that King Fritz took as many people as possible and fled to Paradis. And obviously, the people he brought with him can easily be used for the walls and the rest of them can just popualte the walls. Its never explcitily stated the number of people he was able to gather, so it can easily be he brought millions of people and then a small fraction of them would go on to be the Paradisians, while the others as Wall Titans. Its not like anyone could stop him beside the Noble famailies taht we know cant have their memeories erased, like the council in S3 Part 1 or the Ackermanns.

    Its important to remember that Eren could only revive the past 9 titans during the Battle of Heaven and earth is because he's the Doomsday Titan not the Founding ( The Doomsday is the official name for the Founder, Warhammer, Attack combination ) Eren and Ymir used the Founder to "revive" them and used the Warhammer to build them physical bodies, it's very important to have the both powers as without the Founder you're just building empty shells and without the Warhammer you cant build them bodies. The Founder can't build titans out of nothing as it needs some sort of starting template IE an eldian human to turn into the titan, whereas say Karl Fritz also possessed the Warhammer he probably could build titans out of nothing ( using the consciousness's of past shifters with the founder and giving them a physical body with the warhammer )

Imagine thousands of Eren's after their first transformation, gaining consciousness again after a good amount of time (like Eren) especially because they were Colossals embedded in the walls for a hundred years. There's no point in wiping memories of someone you're turning into a titan either, they're still going to be mindless sacks of meat trapped in the dark and unable to move for a long long time, wiping their memories is pointless. And if we're going by what Willy said, the walls were set up first and then the memories of everyone in the walls were wiped, and wiping clean the consciousness of an entire civilisation will just make it fail so they would have been tweaked to forget the outside world is still alive not be turned into mindless dolls.
      I genuinely still have no idea what you are trying to say here, but yes the Wall Titans would still be functional human beings that once they wake up will just be confused about how they got there, that's if they don't drown/freeze/burn to death before they wake up

    One question in regards to the apparantly MILLIONS of Eldians that survived the Rumbling;
    How did they not overpower the remainiing population in the world?
    80% of the world population died
    Most infrastructure is gone, except for tiny pockets, and Paradise.
    If these Eldians joined Paradise...how the hell did they not outnumber and outpace the rest of the world in technology, population, and military might to the point where they wouldn't get blasted to what we see in the ending?

    My interpretation is that Eren never had full control. That's why the pure titans never revert to nornal. Character wise I see no reason for Eren not to revert Pixis and everyone to humans if he could. Especially considering the Eren edgelord is a facade. He still cared about everyone. As stated by Armin and Yelena, if Eren or Zeke had control, the pure titans would not have attacked them. It's really off. Plus in the final battle Armin states that the resistance is coming from Ymir, not Eren. For those reasons I think Ymir had control. Or at least Ymir mixed with Eren's mind and they became one. Still, everything is mainly due to Ymir. Plus the hallucigenia that transforms eldians into titans by its own will.
    All of this is to let us have our own interpretation of who did what. Eren? Ymir? Hallucigenia?
    Think about Eren's last words before becoming the founding titan with Ymir. He sympathises with her. Says he'll end this "world" actually refering to the curse Ymir has been through with the weight of Fritz's supremacism.
    Eren is genuienly saddened by Ymir's long 2000 year wait.
    Eren is sad. He holds her. Then Ymir shows her first emotion : anger.
    Then Rumbling starts. It does feel like Ymir's anger makes more sense to be the Rumbling's trigger than Eren's saddness.

    Dude the conversation with Ramzi is heartbreaking. Especially in combination with the focussed insanely gruesome death of Ramzi. Whenever people say Erens character was assassinated in the last movie because he has a mental breakdown. I always think of that conversation.

      Like I said, it's not that I didn't realize, it was the obvious implication based on the lore, I just didn't think it was actually true 😂

      Not necessarily, Death of the Author and all that. That said in terms of lore, I would agree that the writer is indeed always right.

      @@BeyondTrash-xe1vs I don't believe in the death of an author. the reason due to us never understanding someone enough to understand intentions when we die no one on earth would still ever know us truly
