Ciao! È la versione 4 cilindri vero? Io ho appena comprato un bwa 4.90 usato che monta il 3 cilindri, spero possa bastare

Can you state if the 40hp Mercury is the 4-cylinder or 3-cylinder model? It looks like the 4-cylinder/4-stroke/Big Foot/Command Thrust model. The 3-cylinder/4-stroke model has a smaller lower unit and propeller and is not as big as this motor appears to be.
i'm not sure but I think it is the 4 cilinder model
Wat kind of boat how big the boat coz im thinking of buying same engine and i have 4.5 fibre glass im not sure if 40hp will be good!

Il video è girato con gopro hero 5 black, con la quale si può attivare il gps e quindi una volta scaricato il video sul computer nell’app ufficiale gopro, si possono aggiungere appunto i parametri della velocità ;)

Sotto i 40 km orari
Con una sola persona a bordo, un 40 pro della mercury e usando il trim è possibile raggiungere anche i 50/55 km/h (30 nodi) su un gommone di 5,5 metri.
Ciao anch'io o un mercufy efi 40/60 ma non mi va più di 23 nodi e la barca pesa 550 kg come posso aumentare qualche nodo ?
Sicuro di averlo installato bene? perchè con una barca di quel peso e un 40/60 dovresti riuscire a raggiungere almeno i 45 km/h
@@captain_dave2319 la barca nasceva con un 115 cv fino a 150 cv o entrofuori bordo 170cv a benzina montando un 40 /60 do vai con un motore così piccolo forse è anche troppo quello che riesce a fare poi il motore è stato tarato fino a 5600 giri non arriva a 6000 giri forse per una sicurezza

Puoi stare tranquillo andava molto bene sebbene la chiglia fosse sporca!! Poi se lavori anche con il TRIM durante la planata andrà una BOMBA!😍

I think 38-40kmh for a 540 er Boot with 8 person is good. Mayby a little bit mor speed with a ather Prop.
I have testet many Props on my Boot. It was a 12 Pitch on the engie when i beome my Boot, hat make then 45Kmh. Than a 13 Pitch wit 50-52 Kmh. Now an 15 Pitch=55 Kmh wit 2 or 3 Person.

@@WarthDader74 not if they give you a sorry ass stock prop to begin with. The performance suck balls.. so that means I have to spend an extra $$$$ to get the motor running perfect? That’s BS. On top of that don’t even know which size and is it not like I can return them to get the right size. 👎
@@hgherb Well, you must have had bad luck then sir. My Mercury outboards have had a good performance with the stock propellers.
