asslmualaiqum wmt...when the new generations of Christians could'nt understand the metaphor(purpose) of the "bell toll's" which means( a reminder) for their "sudden" death...if they want to know whats the meaning of our muslim Adzan, they have to noticed how they feel@felt when "the lonely piper&the flute" expressing everybody emotions during a funeral, cause its similar to our Adzan"5 times daily reminder/calling/notification..we muslim have to help the young christian generations find the right path before offering Islam..(on my personal opinion)

"....help the young christian generation find the right path before offering islam ". So the right path and Islam are two different things ? Huuum...Islam "is" the right path.

@@mohdnorzaihar2632 You seem to not see that those explanations you speak about are part of the da3wa. And i don't see the logic of educating a christian about his own religion in order to prepare him to another religion. There are two possibilities : 1) He knows well about his faith and talking to him about Islam makes him see the differences.
      2) He does not know about his faith, and in this case introducing him to Islam makes him discover Islam. If he wishes to learn about some differences, then and only then he may get answers to his questions.
There is this new tendancy of people who give da3wa and actually of almost everyone who speaks to Christians, to, as some put it, find Jesus peace be upon him in the Quran, and the whole da3wa is based on this point. Sorry, but if this point is important, it is neither the only nor the main point in Islam.
If Jesus peace be upon him was not mentioned in the Quran, would there not be any reason or any argument to approach Christians and give them da3wa ??? Is Islam consistant "only" because it speaks about 3issa peace be upon him ?

This Imam and many others select good topics and do well . However in the beginning and in the end they recite some beautiful verses of Quran that they only understand and may be a few in the audience who have studied Arabic . It appears because they do not translate into English , it appears the Imam only is enjoying it and he is doing it for his self .
In other words its like speaking in french or German in front of an English audience . And all that beauty of the quranic verses the audience get deprived . Or wasted 5 minutes in the beginning and end of talk .
I would wish that those Imams who read or speak Or recite the Quran , please do not unless and until you take the time to translate it .
Eg : instead of saying 10 lines untranslated only say two lines and translate it . Same in the beginning and end too . Specially the dua .the heart of the talk . When we are asking our great Lord to help us this and that . The audience gets deprived of what is it actually that is said . Please say only 2 dua with english translation instead of 20 in Arabic which the youth or even old people do not understand . What is it that I am asking Allah .
There are some Imams who speak and every word they speak is understood . If they bring in Arabic they either say its meaning in English or say after the Arabic part is said . May Allah bless mightily with His Mercy to such Imams and may their numbers increase mightily, so our Nation grows in God’s grace to a mighty Nation of the righteous people living in peace and bring peace to the places they live and to the places they go .
Note : I love Arabic I am not against the language, I understand most but not all of what was said . To sum it please speak to the audience in the language they understand and speak all of your speech not some this and some that .
Thank you for the great qutba .
