Hello to test the plant and equipment recorded in the financial statement of the client refers to what type of audit evidence

We would do substantive procedures and in that we who inspect the actual fixed assets (if we can physically see it and touch it then we know that the asset is real). We might look at a purchase document to make sure the company owns it. I hope that helps.
