  • Auditors may use 9 different types of audit procedures to collect evidence during the course of an audit. These audit procedures include: (1) inquiry, (2) confirmation, (3) inspection of records or documents (vouching and tracing), (4) inspection of tangible assets, (5) observation, (6) recalculation, (7) reperformance, (8) analytical procedures, and (9) scanning. -

    This is so helpful, taking an auditing class with NO lectures is stressful to me. I'm expected to just read the book (4 chapters/week) and understand everything. Thank you for these videos!!!

    *Great educational finance video; implementing these practices are bound to encourage transparency & accountability, which are imperative in any **business.Now** if government accounts were strictly audited employing these practices, then there would never be any room for corruption via kickbacks (taking money under the table), bribes, inflated contract prices & the likes, and the people of the country would be getting value for money everytime.*
