Jorge didn't throw enough, but I still don't understand how Nate won. Nate didn't land any good shots. Everything was pitter patter, and almost all of it was on the gloves/arms. At least Jorge landed several clean punches.

Jorge won. The volume puncher was Nate. He landed very few shots that were clean. Most of those were off the gloves. Jorge landed more quality REAL punches. When scoring a fight, you can't be overwhelmed with a bunch of paper tiger shots that do NOTHING. THE JUDGES were on GLUE.
You're right. Diaz got whooped. It's crazy how many people don't understand the concept of power punches in boxing. Masvidal landed hard shots almost every round. Nate was just touching Jorge's gloves without landing ANY power. It wasn't even close.

Landed hard shots got out pointed and backed up most of the fight... That's the definition of a loss..

I thought Nate def earned the win and I didn't particularly think it was THAT close. Like when replays of the fight literally only showed Jorge highlights for every round lol and the commentary team is saying 7-3 Jorge, Maybe it has people looking at the fight different, Like sorry but landing a couple hard shots despite getting tired and being punched into a corner and teed off on for the entire round just isn't enough to steal the round, Maybe if those hard punches he landed actually hurt Nate I'd say ok, But when Nate just walks thru them the entire fight and constantly swarms Jorge with long combos with no response, I just can't sit there and honestly say Jorge is the one who beat up Nate out there lol
Jorge was hanging in the corner getting pitty pattered and in boxing you can't hang in the ropes. That is ring generalship.
You literally do not understand the concept of power punches. Touching a guy and doing no damage is not scoring in boxing. Watch the fight again and focus on power punches and not pot shots that land on the gloves. You're right about the fight not being that close. Masvidal whooped him in at least 6 rounds.
