- We join Joe for the unboxing of his new 50 Watt CO2 Chinese Laser Cutter/Engraver. It is a generic brand, generally found on eBay. Looks like he got lucky and was shipped a version with the motorized lift!

American 3 plug cords have the grounded built it, you can use the outlets for the air and water pumps without fear of electrocution lol the grounding are for other countries that don’t have grounded outlets

I used to have a machine like that one, I paid 3.5K dollars around 5 years ago, I sold it a few months ago for the same price. Chine but a great working machine. Now I got another like this one few weeks ago and I paid $1350, also have a 30w fiber laser for mark on metals. Have a nice day

Hi, Great videos. I am having issues getting my machine to work. I
cannot connect the machine to my computer. When I go to load a file up
it does not appear on the Display on the machine. Also, there is no red
LED working on the machine. The laser head is stuck in the middle of the
machine and will not move when I turn the power on. Any Suggestions?
OK maybe it might have been sitting around for a few months, but I personally would have made sure before poking around inside, discharge any residual voltage if power supply/ tube was tested. These things can still carry 1,000's of volts. Enough to stop the heart.
Do you have now more informations about a manual or experience plans on your probable test parameters on this machine ? If it’s ok for you to share your experience , it’s nice !

Hello. 6040 50w china. What is the maximum thikness you can cut acrylic you can cut, with one or more pass to have reasonable good edge?
Is it good to do more then one pass?

Will this type laser actually engrave steel/metal rather then just a surface mark that can easily be sanded off?
M Gonzalez no, co2 lasers can't engrave steel. You need a fiber laser to do that

Crazy because when I buy mine if that tube is broken they will replace it or do something to my liking or else I get eBay on them. No way would I accept a broken laser tube that runs a couple of hundred dollars for a 50w model.
Also they are only 40watt lasers NOT 5o!
Joe is highly annoyed it's not broken because he wants to upgrade it. I guarantee he still needs to upgrade it though, as that tube is far too small to generate a 50w Laser.
