Ive commented this on another edit i think, but its funny how Tony always thoughtfully contemplates whether he had a choice in the deadly lifestyle he led and had led from his teenage years onwards, yet never stops to think he was the mentor who groomed christopher into the exact same depressing lifestyle
It didn't occur to me because Christopher's a grown man who is capable of making his own choices by the time the show begins. Unlike Tony he has several opportunities to leave that life throughout the course of the story. Instead he willingly sacrifices his morals, dreams, and the love of his life. Don't forget that Chris wanted to be an infamous boss just as badly as he wanted to be in movies. When his friend Brendan's murder was on the news Chris was more upset that he didn't get credit for any of the crimes they committed together lol. A big part of Tony's arc in the later seasons is him realizing his father (and by extension the lifestyle) wasn't as honorable as he had believed. My interpretation is that he did indeed realize what you're talking about subconsciously. But when you're in the boss' position you can't really afford to second guess those types of decisions openly.
@@througheverything Meh. AJ has his problems for sure, but his character shows that you don't always have to follow in other people's footsteps. And that the cycle *can* be broken in spite of environmental circumstances.

This is the best sopranos edit hands down. Most people don't get the main thing about sopranos. It's not a gangster paradise. It's about the "Criminal Depressed Mind". When you watch the series for the first time you'll not get this vibe if you don't dissect the series. When you watch it again you'll understand this wasn't about action, this wasn't about plot twists or a mind blowing ending. The whole thing about sopranos is the "Bad Guy's Arc". Each character had one and the best were Tony And Chris arc. Bryan Cranston said in an interview Tony soprano paved the way for Walter White. What David Chase created wasn't an action series. It was a psychological case study. Would you please provide the background music?
He only wrote that much ao at the end he can ask for music name… and other guy gives him the name of the track just to get the suscribtion… our world now and ofcourse its just a theory just like everything else aswell as what is shown in the movie…
I hate how Chrissy treated Adrianna sometimes throughout the show. That said, I always kept rooting for him to figure it out and was so happy when he went to rehab and got clean. The episode where the whole crew is laughing at him in slow motion and even Tony is joining in in that famous shot of him looking like Satan with the smoke all around him, Chrissy was fighting demons the entire show and for a brief moment he got it on track. I had a similar moment in my life where I realized the people I surrounded myself with were not my friends. Such a beautiful and thoughtful tv show.
Tony’s therapy sessions are beautiful in the sense that as Tony continues and learns more about the parts that makes him human, they disappear. Most people go to therapy to grow those parts, to nurture those parts. Tony’s talking helps him identify his humanity, acknowledge it, and he erases it. And it’s all a conscious choice on his part….sad that people think that way
I think it's brilliant the way the sopranos portray what it's like to be depressed, it's so real and as if they know exactly what it's like to be depressed
good way to end the edit, I truly think Christopher almost knows that he just threw away the last chance he had at a life outside of the mob, that camera pivot and his expression
