i was a bit annoyed at the one who decided to come through when i was playing that big chub.... he had come crashing through about an hour earlier on the first stretch and scared everything .... but it a shared river and he has every right to be there
Excellent video, stunning Chubb, went out this morning before the rain had an amazing session with a good number of Pike and Perch on small rattlin hornet and spiky shad. Thanks for sharing. Tight lines
thanks Chris... those rattlin hornets are deadly. Im now fishing for Lucky John (part of salmo) , you might want to check out the lucky john haira tiny 33!
Brilliant vids and we fish the same places! But Fordwich town bridge is C&DAA trout section, I thought coarse fishing was only allowed by members from the 1st. October for an extra fee on top off normal coarse membership? If I'm wrong I know a couple more tasty looking swims!
Hi Philip, as far as I understand below the bridge is not the trout section. Im a member of the trout section (course on fly aswell) .... im going to double check again
I was using Quantum hustle and bustle trout / savage gear goby and nineseventungsten chubby b. You should take a look at the lucky john haira tiny 33f (at specimen fishing uk)
Hiya guy great vid mate i love these kind of sessions you do. I had a go with cranks the othrr day, 1 thing i really struggled with though was the current just sweeping my lure away. It wasn't evan that fast either really. (Or at least it didnt seem so) Any tips?
Hi Mate, what lures were you using? Cheaper lures probably won't dig in with alot of current. Make sure you are using thin line (i use 6lb flurocarbon) and try a lure with a longer dive vein like a savage gear goby
7:09 at the right bottom corner.

Using fluoro?
Yes, I use 14lb braid with a 2m long 6lb flurocarbon leader. I use the improved albright or alberto knot to connect braid to line
