This song gets me crying every single time I listen to it. I, like every human on earth, mess up so much. But when I listen to this song, the questions asked in this song are the same questions I ask, “Who am I to be loved by you?”, and I get reminded that I’m still cared about dispite my mistakes. I may not see what God is doing in my life, but I know he is doing something great. And this song reminds me of that. And that I’m being loved along the way.
The first time I heard this song it was my first day of a hospital admission for my eating disorder. I had become so sick from not eating and being stuck in this vicious cycle of anorexia. When I heard this song I decided to start recovery. Cause while yes God loves me for all my mistakes and mess ups, I decided I no longer wanted to live a life of sin and hurt, but a life lived for God!! This song is my anthem. 💕💕💕
I ask God almost on a daily basis.. How can you love me? what have I done? I'm so not worthy of you, you love.. Who am I??? This song touchedy deepest core ...my soul. I want this song played hopefully one day when I get baptised. I'm 57 and I've had some really tough times with myself, lossing ones I love and instead of turning to the one who has never left me .
