Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John chapter 3: verse 16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer a conscious agonizing eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death" in a lake of fire. "I push you away, still you won't let go, you grow your roses on my barren soul" Not only is that a stunningly beautiful lyric, but the passion he sings it with gives me goosebumps every time. What a piece of music.
If you watch him while he's singing, he struggles to not cry when he sings that part. I swear I almost see him shed a tear during it at the beginning when he drops his chin to belt it out.
I can’t sing this song because it’s so full of emotion I choke up ever time. I never appreciated the level of performance art like this requires. These guys are masters.
I am 9 months pregnant and in severe pain, tears streaming down my face trying to remember Christ's pain on my behalf, for my redemption and begging God to deliver me, but he already has. Christ is enough and through him only can I endure what I am facing right now. God is good and I trust him and I grateful for worship music especially in times of trial, both physical and emotional.

This song found me in a hopeless place and it changed my life. I never listened to gospel music before and now it's all I listen to.
I gave up on God long ago but this song really is heartbreaking. How can God forget about those suffering? It's painful. What's said is that most Chrisitians are so fake and I put myslef in these positions where I'll talk to the broken such as drug addicts and when I feel threaten I flee then I feel bad. Where is God in all the bad situations? he's not there for anyone. It's so heartbreaking and depressing.

For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ”. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”. This song touches my soul on such a deep level. The words are so beautiful and the way the are sung gives me goosebumps. Why aren’t people playing this song and connecting with the realness of God’s love as much as the songs of the artists who riddle their works with darkness and disrespect? This song should be the opening performance to those award shows, reminding everyone that with God, they would be nothing. All of those stars who give thanks to God in their speeches, do they fully understand or are they just saying that for more followers? You can lead a horse to water but you can’t force him to drink. I was told, “Why would God be talking to YOU? He doesn’t just talk to anybody.” He speaks to everyone. Not everyone cares to listen.

When I here Jesus Christ Holy Spirit talk through a sinner saved and anointed by the God Head three in one. I am speechless on how the God who is love. Can love us sinners so much. There is no way to comprehend his love. The first time I heard this song tears of joy streamed down my face. That is what makes a band great. God gave them a gift and brought them together and they choose to use there gifts to honor God. They sound like a rock and roll band instrumentally and reach so many more people praising God by not sounding like all praise music but making there music there way not trying to imitate others. God Bless them and praising God with the whole mind body and soul. As we are commanded to do!
