- I was so made up when I heard Brainiac were going to be supporting Mogwai for a few shows. I wanted to video their opener ‘Fresh New Eyes’, taken from their Electro-Shock For President’ EP, as I’d heard it’s so powerful when they play it live.
So good to see them playing again after so long, still so full of power - right through their set. Tyler absolutely knocked me out!
Just pure class to see these two bands in one night. ❤️🔥❤️🔥

So happy to see the band back. Their music needs to be heard. RIP Timmy
Whoa, didn't expect to come across this! Great to see it! I love Brainiac, and Enon, and all the creativity that's flowed from them. Thought the documentary was great! RIP Tim
I’m so glad they’ve started to enjoy Tim’s legacy now, a real celebration - shines through when they play live, good on ‘em.
No f'king way! I would've cut off a toe to be at this!
My kids first ever gig too, their first ever live sound - their faces when this started hehe 🤩🤩
Was at the Moth Club last night 🤘🤘🤘
Thank you for posting this! My friend Keiron was at a lot of these UK shows. They’re really clicking here. Brainiac forever…..
Yes
wow wow wow wow wow wooooooooooow!!!!!!!!
this opening set was the loudest thing ive heard in my life, i was right at the barrier wearing earplugs and headphones over that and it still hurt my ears, the mix meant i couldnt hear a bloody thing hahaha but they had incredible energy
Hehe - a few years ago I'd have sold my grandma for that spot y'know. Now I just want to take her comfy chair with me to gigs & sit at a safe distance with a cuppa.
Brainiac will bring back rock....
Does anyone know what guitar is John playing? It looks so cool!
it's a Teisco TG-64
who's singing instead of Tim?
John Schmersal (Caribou/Enon), a real genius.
There’s so many hyperlinks that the drummer is making.
Yeah I ouldn't believe the power and drive Tyler put out last Sat. So good to see them back after the pain they suffered. Watch the documentary 'Brainiac Transmissions After Zero', incredible. You know they're special when they've influenced the likes of Trent Reznor.
Dude's in his 50's and slams like he did 30 years ago
They would have friends/band members guest sing on Brainiac tracks for each song
