Good info. I have several questions though:
1) There was this sticker saying "don't remove until you use the usb." Why? Does it get dirty?
2) There was a plastic piece which isn't mentioned in the setup document. It was in the box. What is it?
3) I've never had a laser printer you didn't have to install the toner. You really don't have to mess with it?
4) What if you want to scan multi page documents to a PDF?

It should be in setting. But if not then reset the printer to defaults and setup again, during setup you can setup remote UI

I don't want to purchase an HP printer, because they tend to force you to sign up for their cartridge purchase program. See the video entitled "HP is scraping the bottom of the barrel", Louis Rossman channel.
I hope that's not also the case for this Canon 656 cdw?

Single scan if you buy 643cdw, you should buy 645cx for double scanning
