This was so beautiful! I always felt there’s some pretty melancholy in the sunset’s last light and I think you could capture it very well. Your movie inspired me to try making one myself, I still don’t know where to start but I truly would love to make something like this. I’ve always wanted to being able to capture the beauty of everyday life and make it tell some kind of story, but I’ve only done it with photography till now… maybe it’s time to try something new. Thx for the video and the inspiration! Hope to see more of your movies 🎥 ❤
Thanks for watching. Humbled and pleased to hear that the work is able to spark something within yourself and for your own work in the future. Looking forward to coming across it someday and hope to keep sharing mine with you as well.
gorgeous use of natural lighting and the warm tones in this and compositions were crisp. The stillness mixed with the flow of everything made a beautiful film. I make movies too and recently finished a cinematic diary spending the days of the year in New York City. I'd be happy to hear your thoughts Ivan
Thanks for taking the time, I appreciate it Giovanni. Experimenting with some things here on TH-cam that I'm hoping to incorporate into bigger projects down the road. And always nice to hear from another filmmaker. I'll check it out for sure, thanks for letting me know. Maybe I'll catch you in NYC some time.
Such an amazing job Ivan! I stumbled upon the short version on instagram and got here. Amazing opening sequence! Also going thru breakup right now so this hit alot more lol. Keep up the work
Really looking forward to seeing the extended version of this beautiful film. What microphone was used for the voiceover and ambient sound? Greetings, Ivan.
