With the new engraving system it picks the "right" set for you. But also, you do not longer need to run Valtan/Vykas x amount of times in order to gear-transfer anymore. In the jumpstart server all you have to do is do the Gearconversion quest and it unlocks automatically
because back in that day, players like you always crying how its cost lots money to get to the latest endgame for honing and stuff. now you can advanced to endgame with pure 1 char only and no gold at all. but hey, sometimes haters gonna hate.
Yup. I went back yesterday, played for not even 20m and realized just as I was about to use the powerpass - hey. I did this already. Over 1500 hrs in the span of 5 months. I told myself I will never go back to LA b/c it was the worst mmoarpg experience Ive ever had. I'm not talking about the gameplay or the combat. Thats 10/10 great. But the gatekeeping, the gambling, the pay to win, the bots, the frustration of spending 6+ hours playing and not getting a single upgrade, the amount of CHORES, the need to constantly grind, the amount of alts you need, etc. Sywo says that you'll make alts, thats just how it goes. But for me, I really just wanted my Deathblade. I had 5 alts by the time I quit literally all for the sole reason to pump materials into my Deathblade and help him gear up faster. Alts should never be a requirement or an expectation like Sywo's that every player is going to make an alt or more. I definitely wouldn't have if it didn't offer any advantage. Always been a 1 character, MAYBE 2 character andy. Even in Diablo, I always picked the rogue. In WoW, for over 15 years, I mained rogue. Some people do not like the idea of focusing on multiple characters, and I am one of those people. If people enjoy the game, great. I do think it'll be short lived. The gear system, the gatekeeping, the chores, the need for alts - all of that & more will hit the new players eventually. And they will regret a lot of hours they spent in the game when they do finally quit.

It doesn't matter what set you pick, it automatically picks the one for your class. At least it did for me, I did not get the gear set I picked from the chest.
so..after quit LA because was like a job creating ALTERS, all of the video still recomend have 2-3 alters...so nothing change in this game, seems like the same bored "job" instead of play a video game...
I did not know what to do, I did not want to use the claim items on a class I was no 100% sure I wanted to play. I stopped playing at 1450ish T3 with an Arty a while back before they started adding classes. I started a Destroyer because from reading it was similar to an Arty but I dunno.
I don't recommend this, but what I did is make one of each class, okay them extensively, and then delete the classes I didn't like until I had six main characters. You could do something similar since you get six free alt slots

I have a few questions that I hope I can get answers to: Im sadyl the type of guy that when he starts something and stops for a long period of time.. doesnt want to just continue from where I left of, but want to start over.. now the question tho is, since the reason I quit was the fact that I wanted to do Islands ( I followed a guide online to the best island routes to do) but simply kinda got annoyed by time gates islands... so my question is: I want to start over with a new Char, can I delete or just ignore my characters and create a new one starting fresh (re learn stuff etc..) but keep the mounts, skins, islands and collectible that I did do till now and still benefit from everything these new events offer (and get my 1500 character) on my legacy server? What MORE do Jump Start servers receive other than being "isolated" from other servers? Are Legacy and Jump Start essentially the same (in terms of events and freebies etc) with the difference only being JSS are isolated? Or do Jump Start servers get stuff that a new character in Legacy would not get? If I do create a new Char on a Legacy server, do I lose all the horizontal stuff I already did on legacy? Should I rather create a new char on legacy and start over that way or would JSS generally be a better idea?
I think if they really care about getting new players...they cannot be dumping 20+ game systems on players coming fresh off of a boost. It's too much and it's a lot. Sywo you may not realize it but you just went through a megaton of shit that players have to do and that's maybe 15% of what you have to do. It's all a confusing mess and i can see why LA fails to grab new players because the barrier of entry is BAD.

I wish they didn't force us into making alts in order to keep up with the game, really hoping they remove the alts system on jump start server, because most people especially casuals don't have time and energy to grind more than 1 character.

ı have 1480 sharpshooter now. But no other char. Because i used 3 days ago to try character. So i created new steam acc. Now i have 2 1415 class. But no cystal aura. Is it ok ?
Was there a prerequisite to getting the 2nd pass? Only got the one from the item mall. (Found one on an alt but thats for the aeromancer release) Seems like I just have to do the standard stuff, currently 1445 on one character, would like the 2nd pass but guess that was just for pre-existing south vern+ players
@@bwaniful the jump start pass was specifically made for the new jump start server. The one you used was meant for any server, that’s fine though. As for the south Vern pass, you just use that to instantly skip to endgame. So you would make a character, use the south Vern pass on them if you want to skip the story, then use the jump mokoko express or the normal express on that same character.
Game is dead... I tried the jumpstart server. Like no groups in finder and no one is quing up for anything. Old servers, you need 1500ilv for valtan hard..
really don’t like how the character won’t get merged with your main roster. for returning players, you have to abandon all your roster progress towards unlockables/horizontal and characters. to redo them on the jump start servers. not worth that hassle
It's only one powerpass per account, some received two because you got a Power Pass for Aeromancer on your first login since the August update. If your first login was now on Jump Start, you get the Power Pass for Aeromancer, and the one from the Jump Start there
So what do we do after hitting 1490? The guy is saying to get different gear, brelshaza i think. I guess i have to do a raid for it? If so, which one? Normal? Hard mode?
@@jrzlz it actually isn't. The honing guy tells you to switch to brelstraza gear and when you look up brelstraza in the codex, it's just the card and some other thing, no gear. So tell me, smartass, what text are you referring to?
Another tip, dont hone your 1415 gear if you wamt to try the other class engraving, its free to switch between them as long as no honing is done to try them out
The game is still dead, 55k after the new update. In my opinion, if they don't adjust the ALT problem to let people play just one character without falling behind this will be the unique average number of players meaning it will still be hard to get new players forcing the game to die. To many RNG and I will repeat it, they are making the game less annoying and less stressful, but this doesn't mean the game is fun.

Completely agree with the alt suggestion. Its one of the main reasons i quit the game the first time. They should just adjust stuff so you can spam content in your main character instead needing to make whole different characters that you dont even enjoy playing or more of the same class you enjoy just to waste your time. Alts should be a choice, not a necessity.

There is actually a guide quest that will insta unlock gear set change, no need to do vykas/valtan

at 1490 you raid normal mode, g1-g2 will net you two ancient gear pieces and push you to 1500+
