An update - It seems that everyone will get TWO free South Vern powerpasses. (unless you're an active player and you've used one already on the legacy servers).
Where did u verify this? Im wondering because saw someone mentioning u can also use 2 express events for 1540 if u didnt use it on main servers and wanted to confirm. Also someone on reddit mentioned extra 2 powerpasses after complting story on the first char. do u know anything about that?
You sure about the latter? That would just force people to make new accounts instead unless they can keep pumping that premium time from their main server.

As a veteran player advice: play the game casually dont burnout urself trying to achieve something in the same day or better means fear of missing out , second advice is : dont be afraid to make the raid urself and be the raid leader ,even if u dont know mechanics u got to learn them together and as a raid leader u will have alot of fun hitting the sidereal skills . Idk what to say more , i never commented before on any video , but guys , take it casually (we need you )
im veteran, but I know, no one will stay, i'm sorry to say this but LOA is dead, unless they revamp the whole system to not be a KOREAN mmo with grind and p2w nobody will ever return

@@myst2212 nah u are just stupid and have no idea what ur doing. There are many total f2p players that are clearing newest raids without any problem. Idk why ppl like u even call it p2w. Higher damage vs others in raid doesnt even give u extra rewards. What is there to win? Its just manchilds like u who got their little ego hurt when they lose on damage and cries are the problem.
You can have fun with the casual content. If you're trying to be an end-game raider, be prepared to pull out your wallet or play 17 hours a day. Sad truth, if you don't rush to endgame, you will be gated out of content even if you have friends. Believe I tried but everybody progresses at different speed especially if your friends start spending money
@@utikahk4538 ppl like you are the ones that shouldn't be playing this game. If you wanna skip EVERYTHING and do the new raids I guess yes, you are correct. No one does that, who the fk plays a game just to skip most of it? Play through all the content, don't play 17 hrs a day, just be consistant and eventually you'll get there. The raids don't expire so there is no need to rush
Best advice? Don't watch streamers from the original beginning, they had everyone rushing through the content to get to the end game. You miss out on the side quests, which help you on the horizontal part of the game, and you'll also miss out on runes and skill point potions. You'll be needing these as you progress. true, also using a powerpass skips and gives alot of skill potions as well, so maybe use it for a character then start a new one with the story express to experience the game first.

Don't fall for the fomo of having to play 6 characters a day. You can let your stronghold ship do two guardians for you a day as well as only play on rested bonus and still won't be missing out on a lot. Don't pay for buses, if you have the ilvl you can do the raid, just believe in yourself
I will always thank Sywo for intruducing Lost ark to me and my friends, his enthusiasm and love for the game back when the game launched made us love it even before the release. Nowdays is so sad to watch these kind of videos, watching how doomer he has become about the game. I think being more exposed to some other toxic streamers has killed his love for the game, or maybe he didn't feel rewarded enough for all his effort put into the game and the community. Hope all new players find what they are looking for in this great game ♥
My dad passed away on western release day and I had to take over his business so I’ve been unable to play- this makes it so I can jump back in. Huge fan of it

The same thing that happened on the main servers, will happen on the fresh start server. You just get a second chance to get there. It won't really be better because the community remains the same. This is unfortunate because the game is fun. But the attitude and mentality of the community ruins the game.\
i shelved Lost Ark after the first year. Even while in a guild nothing really changed. The same mentality, the same behavioral patterns was still present, at every item level.
Ppl blame on other things so much they dont realize the community is a shithole lol. I know its hard to self reflect. Wcyd.

Advice from a support vet: Don't shy away from playing support if you enjoy this type of role. Support in loa is extremely well designed and fun. You will hear a lot of negativity in the community about it but I believe 99% of this is from people who have no clue about it, the role is fairly misunderstood by most of the community. I play both support and dps in endgame content and enjoy support more and find it more engaging. The tl;dr is you manage the overall strategy of the raid by balancing shields/heals/damage reduction and damage buffs to ensure the raid is successful and smooth. Raid knowledge will help you a lot in this role as well as understanding the dps you're supporting. Most people won't know what you do, they'll just find their raids are easy with you in them :p
Not to be negative but the gatekeeping won't change unless they change the system of collecting cards and gearing up. The card system is one of the reasons why gatekeeping happened in the first place.
facts..even with the free lvl7 and lvl8 gems..if raider saw the "EVENT" on their gems..they will gate keep it lol

I think most gatekeeping is due to failing 1-shot mechanics. Gameplay too unforgiving=people have to gatekeep or their time will be wasted. I hate getting booted after 2 mistakes -_-
I have 3500 hours playtime, quit when Diablo 4 came out, might try out this new fresh start thing.

Why ppl so negative on the comments. I mean I also quit the game at one point due to irl. I still dont regret my time spent on the game because it was rly fun.
So even if ur not sure u might play the game for years, giving it a try and having fun for couple weeks even if u quit after, is ok. As long as u enjoy ur time there.
how not to ruin your fresh start
1. Do not make bunch of alts, stick with 1-3
2. Do not play 10+ hours a day,, stick to something realistic like 2-4 hours.
3. Do Not fall in the FOMO
4. play at your own pace.
5. lastly play because you enjoy it not because your force to.
have a nice go at the game.
only wish so far is i want them to introduce Solo Raid meaning ability for a person to solo by themselves.
This is the best advice to get gatekept after 2 weeks of fresh start.
@@kaaltv5028yep pretty much, game is still predatory at its core and will force you to play like a second job or swipe, the fresh servers are of any use only for completing some raids first week, it only goes downhill after that.
Play as a support if you don't have the most time in a day to play, since you're alowed to slack more, and still be desired
I'm a support main, 100% agreed. All supports actually have great mob clearing, and are great for learning new content - plus early on we can main swap later its really no biggie

he didnt say anything about rushing, he said you should prioritize raids before everything else. That's a great advice because at the beginning the playing field is very equal.
I just started playing 3 days ago with an aeromancer and been having a blast. Im going to move over to this server tomorrow and play a Predator Slayer. Once i get thru the story and learn the mechs and end game more ill use my pass for Aeromancer. Idk about other classes but damn is she fun!

Well, I am kinda excited to play this just because I finished Starfield and 100% before I go on vacation next week, and since I have Geforce now I want something to play to kill time when I'm not going out, feels good to play again after a whole year, lets see how we do with the card system because the RNG for it was a let down same as honing, it became more of a chore or p2w, and it will also a time killing game to get ready for Cyberpunk DLC
Best advice I can give is to not spend any money. You’ll regret it. Play the game for fun.

Do you get any reward for having an older character with like 1200 mokoko's etc?? Or is it completely fresh? I ask because at launch I couldnt play this in the Netherlands so I used a VPN account to play however nowadays I can play this in the NL so I wondered do I missout on anything special if I just leave my old VPN account behind or not??

Personally I tried the game when it first came out I wasn't really a fan of it now I have seen and heard from content creators and friends they have added more stuff and it's more fun so I'm definitely going to give it a try on these jump start servers! Probably gonna play a Bard since it looks cool and a Shadowhunter
Do not trust the swap character during the super Mokoko express. At least for the latest one you could not swap character after honing even once.
Summary: Don't have fun. Get on the grind train as quickly as possible. Do your homework. Lost Ark isn't a game, it's a job.

Only reason why I even want to play the jump start is that possibly I could actually play the raids and not have to pay for a damn bus... I have a 1490 Scrapper that has Epic Gear since I can't do raids at all. The only real content are the raids in this game. There's no solo content that could help you progress at all.

Again...Guild Wars 2 is equally as fun and you are accepted no matter where you are in the game. You should look at the Secrets of the Obscure. You can start from scratch or boost to 80 and play endgame.

This just isn't true. Sywo is a streamer that needs to play and compete with extremely high level og-korean server players. The average player can login for 20-30 mins a day and keep completely afloat and up to par, and with the new buffs to rested it doesn't even need to be every day just a few days a week.

Sywo, you already min maxing. My advice : don't min max, play at your own pace, do what you think it's fun to do. The rest doesn't matter.

Hey community. Quick question. I’m a brand new player and got the jump starter pack. However when I used it in my character and opened the box, it was only ilvl 130 gear and character lvl 30(ish)…. Any suggestions? Am I missing something?

Everything will be transferred.
The server is going to stay the same. Its basically just matchmaking and economy that is beeing merged. Just like you would play on any other server in a region.
I manage to kep myself at the end game for over a year whit only playing 5 characters never doing anything but chaos dungeon,guardians and legiom raids.

my only concern was bots, with that much of sugar in fresh start server it will be bots heaven. Getting raid gated by player i can deal with that, but getting gated not able to login and have to queue for hours and hours just to login to the game because the server already full of bots is ruining the game experience for me. They need to do something with that bots problems. i just hopes there will be no login queue on fresh start server....
Bots have been pretty much annihilated for the last few months which is nice.
Would it be ok to wait for november to get Soul Eater before I get to the fresh start servers?
if you want , but you will get another boost when souleater realeases so you can play the game casually meanwhile with another class and slowly collect mats to funnel your soul eater on november

YES, on main servers 1540 is min ilvl for alts :) if those 4 are not supports gatekeeping will end your fun.

It will take you some time to achieve the same on the jump start servers.
They just merged the EU regions because there weren't enough players. The restart servers will end the same way. At the beginning there will be a lot of hype, but it will definitely be smaller than with the release. And after 8 weeks 80% is gone again and it becomes unplayable. Even though I like Lost Ark, I unfortunately have to say that this game is 95% only aimed at hardcore players. No matter what Zeals and other streamers say in the streams, nothing will change. The changes in the dev streams do nothing for casual gamers. The fact is that if you don't raid, you can stop playing. Because there is nothing interesting to do apart from the daily grind and raids. No new continent will change that. At the end you do 2-3 hours of story quest and you're back to chaos dungeon, raids and guardian raids.
Don't buy card packs, trust

you can start with your main account but everything is reset. You'll have to do everything back from 0 as this is for new players. I didn't start on launch (quit on level 50) so I'll be starting with the story pass.
First mistake is to start playing Lost Ark thinking it is going to end up differently...
What this mean? LA is super fun game. If you have fomo it's your personal problems.

Do the raids as fast you can. Learn with people that are learning. If that was fun for you then go diligently do your stronghold, map completion, island souls, etc. Only do the side content if the raid content is fun enough that you want to keep playing. The knowledge is more important than anything.

Be a support. You will have an easier time joining parties. Back when i last played 6 months ago that was a thing, pretty sure it is a thing to this day also. If you have friends than it doesn't matter what class you play; you are on the right track of fully enjoying the game. Gatekeeping will always be present in MMOs in some way or another; if gatekeeping is your main concern than you will be disappointed because people will always ask for something; but like Sywo said, making/having friends is a big deal in this type of games. My 2 cents...
Looking for static on NAE for fresh start have up to kayangle experience. Willing to join people who plan to play through to at least akkan on fresh start I work from home so I can work my schedule to fit the statics needs. I'm not super cracked but I'm not a bad player either. I'll be playing Pistoleer deadeye.

The biggest mmorpg on the steam platform by far and one of the most successful mmorpg released in the past 10 years. From a publisher perspective : most money made.
