It's look like camera didn't have enought time to raycast target - if script working like I think it is - it give camera location when not raycast target
I've seen a much better version of this, likely predating it, similar in design, but just all around better. The scout ship was small grid, fast and agile, and the missile, singular, was VASTLY superior, it rained MANY armed warheads down on the target, as it spun around giving the armed warheads a chance to spread out their damage. The alternative version from the same guy projected and printed these onboard the large small grid missile as it parachuted down above its target.
My friends and I have this idea for a missile we've dubbed "THE GRIFFIN". Just imagine that before your enemies missile hits your ship the last thing you hear is the laughter of Peter Griffin from Family Guy hurdling twords you at full speed.
Sounds more like a ballistic missile system.
You have to be above the location to hit it :D
"to launch an orbital strike at your location."
This+nuclear weapons mod would be epic.
Add a speed mod and you've created a monster.
I wanted to do this same thing except the targeting ship is an remote control UAV and/or possibly satellites because this is a great idea

Wouldnt an arking trajectory make more sense
Harder to program in game, easier to make in real life.
