How to replace the LED light in a Bosch fridge (+ Neff, Siemens)

Replacing a faulty LED light in a Bosch fridge-freezer looks baffling, but is in fact pretty straightforward and here's how to do it. An extra tip from the comments is to slide the unit to the left first. This should make it easier to pop out of the clips. PS.
