Here in NCR, govt could implement the ban on private diesel vehicles overnight. That of course doesn't mean that the current private owned diesel cars would be banned from running on the roads , they will run until their validity but the ban will be made on selling new private diesel vehicles. Commercial and industrial use will take a lot of time so they are safe but not the normal car buyer.

Existing diesel cars won't be banned. The proposal is to ban the production of diesel cars after 2027.

What about new diesel car buyers, they will not be able to resale their vehicles after few years.. so buying diesel isn't a good idea..
Diesel cars have less torque than EV cars,but atleast it has a soul.
