Who disliked???? As an art student and trying to understand how the heck digital art works, this is really helpful and I'm taken aback from how many textures there are in the 30 days challenge!
Why are the views so low? Your videos deserve a lot more attention. Not only do you give us a walk-through...you also tell us why the way it is. I can't forget about how you give us access to the color palette. Thanks to you I have improved my digital art skills :)
This comment really means a lot and I'm so glad the tutorials have been helpful to you :) The channel is still quite new and I'm incredibly grateful for all the I have been able to reach so far. Plus, every single like/comment/share really does help reach even more people, so thanks to you for helping!
This tutorial is god-sent! I was working on an illustration of one of my friend's original characters who wears a dress made of water and had no idea were to start when it came to making the water look like it wraps around her. Fallowing along with this was so simple it made the intimidating task manageable, and gave me just the outcome I was looking for! It made it fun to work on and I'm so happy with the results! Thank you for this video what a help!
Recién compré la tablet, estoy empezando, buscando tutoriales y explorando canales, gracias YT por la recomendación 😂❤ y a ti por traducir tu video 🙌🏽😊
WHY DID I ONLY DISCOVER YOU CHANNEL NOW?!!?!??? THIS IS SUUUUUUPER HELPFUL, THE WAY YOU EXPLAIN IS EASY TO UNDERSTAND TOO!! CAN'T WAIT TO MAKE MY WATER DRAWING ✨✨
The caustic patterns are reflections of the surface ripples on the bottom surface...so only the "sand" would show the "wave pattern". Your tutorial is lovely otherwise and you capture a lot of great observations.
Hi there!! First of all, I just want to thank you so much for making this video it's super helpful and really easy to watch and I sincerely am grateful for that! I wanted to ask a question; however, if we're drawing a huge portion of water or ocean is the bottom layer needed if the water is extremely deep? I am just wondering since the bottom might not be able to be seen and if it's needed to just reducing the opacity could work. Thank you so much again if you read this and have an amazing day!
I definitely recommend trying both options really quickly to see what they would look like. I think I would personally still draw the 'bottom' layer, just making it suuuuuper dark :)
Great video, though I tried to do it on Photoshop and got tripped up when I set the base layer at 80% opacity and was stuck for a good 5 minutes wondering why my colours on the subsequent clipping layers felt washed out. Would be interested to see a photoshop-focused version.
I don’t know a lot about Ibispaint, but I know that I love pretty much every single little thing about Procreate haha It’s super easy to use, really intuitive, and it even has some really cool features for animation :)
So, I followed the guide exactly, but whenever I use a deep blue color, the clipping mask somehow turns the color into a bright purple. Any ideas for what’s causing it?
Very difficult to follow for beginners.. I expected to learn how to paint water in general not a water ball.. I couldn’t finish the tutorial because of the constant giggles which are very distracting..
Me: Procreate can’t be that hard, I’ve been drawing digital art for 1/3 of my life Me after 1 second of using it: *searching up literally everything about how to draw on Procreate*
Hahahaha I feel you! It's a great app but it does take a little bit of time to get used to. If you're not familiar with the gestures yet, I highly recommend you check out this video: th-cam.com/video/pujBOV_A26k/w-d-xo.html I'd say it's probably the most important thing to know in order to start using the app if you're already familiar with digital art in general :)
Man! Come on... you must be kidding me! I got the same iPad borrowed by my school but am not allowed to do stuff like this on it! (because of the e-pen)

Oh you're using procreate i want to try it!!! I hanve some question does procreate is better than ibispaint?
I don’t know a lot about Ibispaint, but I know that I love pretty much every single little thing about Procreate haha
It’s super easy to use, really intuitive, and it even has some really cool features for animation :)
What do you do when you don’t have the add blending mode. I’m using adobe fresco for a school thing and they don’t have add on there.
Thank you for teaching how to paint a water-ball. But I'm not sure how an I supposed to put these balls in my beach drawing. :(
Is this tutorial only for Procreate? Can this be used in Krita?
How i create clipping masks on photoshop? 🥺
If I may ask, can someone help me know the equivalent of a clipping mask on krita?
So, I followed the guide exactly, but whenever I use a deep blue color, the clipping mask somehow turns the color into a bright purple. Any ideas for what’s causing it?
What brush is your blend tool on? Somehow mine is terrible and no where near as good as your blending
thank you so much
Thankyou
What would clipping mask be in Clip Studio Paint?
Which art app
