Nice job on your first trout via trout spey. :) It’s a fun and rewarding way to fish.
Little easier to catch trout than Great Lakes steel on the swing haha!
I have the mission 4 wt. love the rod. Nice fish.
Thanks!
Excellent work. Raph and Ollie loved this!

@@squatchinflyco i have a place 2 miles up the road.. Your videos has me wanting to take a drive and hit the water!!
@@georgeromanczuk8358 Get out there my friend!
great video 😁👍. what was the weight of the rod you were using ?
i was using a 3wt orvis mission. ive since gone and purchased a 4wt winston microspey.
@@squatchinflyco Did you not like the Mission Rod?
Esse peixe é salmão
Debarb the hooks?
we were using OPST swing hooks, which are barbless. Cold fingers made it a little hard!
@@squatchinflyco gotcha! I swung that run a couple weeks ago, but it was about 50% covered in ice...
@@Jaimelapoesie yep! need some higher flows as well. I had no luck a week ago or so. Just doesn't swing the same!
