Alex, make sure you stuff those ventilation pipes with steel wool to block mice and rats and roaches from entering the residence. You can use an ample amount without restricting the airflow

My Mom passed on to be w Jesus a few months ago. I moved my Dad to my home to live w us.He Always had a work project on the farm since he was a child. His aged body won’t allow him to work now. The wood looks so nice after you cleaned it! It makes it look more like a home than just a shack. Excellent! If you could put some polyurethane on the logs, it would help seal out bugs and make cleaning them much easier in the future. To those people who write unkind comments and criticism, I say, SHAME ON YOU. Ignore them, Alex, because they are just stupid. My Polish grandmother would say, "ignorance can be treated with knowledge; but stupid goes all the way to the bone!" If you leave some of the mushrooms, they were explode their spores so more will grow in the future.

You need to put some dead trees ontop of the moss - to match the surroundings. Also, some sort of cover on the front window glass to block view / reflection from far away. Put lots of peppermint oil on rags inside - mice don't like that. Haven't seen any yet but its only a matter of time.
