That would be cool, i have a 7163efr with sxe compressor, from 2015-2020 i ran a 7163efr with high boost efr iwg, in 2019 i put a sxe compressor on it amd made a custom 3.5" cowl intake but i forgot to hook up a boost line and overboosted so there went my cyl 1 compression, sold it then tested the 1st g30-770 for atp while the car was down in early 2020 of February. They told me it wouldn't fit. I then bought another 7163efr from full race being one of the last kits ever sold, i got the vband inlet version this time, a sxe housing and a turbosmart iwg and it made that turbo into a beast. I made 410whp on 93 octane with 23si 4port aux, 520whp on e85 29psi... its my favorite turbo for the 2.0 honestly because it spools like a 2867 gen2 but flows like a g30-660.

The grill shutters are fuckin junk ford stuck in there to give better mpg and block air to the radiator and intercooler when your cruising, its the dumbest thing honestly. A cobb tune deletes the code so dont worry about it. It also removes some weight and cleans up the st front end.

Genuine question. I currently own a Focus ST250 (250BHP stock). With a base tune, 3'' sports cat downpipe and exhaust system and upgraded intercooler running about 310BHP and this is with the stock turbo. I believe my Actuator is stuck open so looking for a new turbo, hence why i am here. As im alreading hitting the max the stock turbo can output, will this garret powermax be able to give me more power or will it just give me a better longevity as the internals are uprated? The data say the Garret can only provide 250-300bhp which im already pushing. I can't run 98 octane or E30 as im from the UK
The powermax provides 20-30whp more than a ko3, 285whp conservatively with a flatter tq curve that doesn't drop fast. Thanks for stopping by we appreciate the support.
Its a good turbo but only if your trying to go past 400whp and build your motor because of its potential. If your under 400whp with it, the turbo lag with it hurts your overall experience. Ill be covering this turbo as well later on.
@ I have it now currently with the 4 port aux fueling, and FBO and I get pretty good results from this turbo it’s very responsive if your in boost it builds boost moderately quick but that might be because I went with a smaller ar size I think it was .67 I went with so it would spool quicker. I do agree if you are in the wrong gear or in certain cases it does spool slow I’m assuming that it would much slower with the bigger ar size. Also I can’t wait to see the video that you have planned!

What do you think about the gtx 3071r gen 2 turbo?
