Couldn’t agree more, Angelo. I’ve been out of collecting the Turtles, since the end of original toy line. These just work, for me, and have brought me back into collecting TMNT. I’m on the hunt for Donnie, but I’ve got the other three and REALLY dig them. Thanks, for the video, brother. I appreciate you fulfilling that request. 👍
I must own all Neca figures for The Last Ronin. Amazing story and amazing figures! I gotta buy a shelf soon specifically for displaying these bad boys! Oh and that flag Donatello comes with is from the Japanese clan that Splinter belonged too before he came to the US. The red on Donnies Bo Staff was in remembrance of Raphael after he was killed. Mikey has a red stripe on his nunchuku holsters for Raph as well.
I haven’t read The Last Ronin comic series yet but it looks cool & so do these figures. I like their angry heads, I’d like to recieve “angry head” because thats my kink. The symbol with the 3 circles represents the Hamato Clan, as seen on Splinter's kimono. Yeah the red details are to pay homage to Raph, who is the first Turtle to fall... In sort of a grim fashion, the Turtles are all molded in their "final outfits"... I really like the book, which I will re-visit from time to time, but I'm not sure I like it enough to go all in on this line, which is turning out to be pretty large. Altho, if these were easier to find I'd probably have bought them by now... That Splinter looks like a GOAT I'll probably get it regardless.
i love the look of these turtles just not everything else you mentioned the lack of articulation is a big thing for me as well as the scaling my favorite turtles so far is the mirage 4 pack that just rereleased. i love the mezco turtles but 400 dollars can take a long walk off a short pier lol
Ive tried a few lines of neca turtles and this one just knocks every other one out of the water and exactly like you said, the outfits. Something so different yet close enough to still go ya those are nongimmick turtles
Hey bro, is that Donatello the last turtle from that line? Those are the only tmnt I own and I really don't want to get the wrong one to complete the series. The new take on the review works, is a nice simple approach.
The red bandanna pieces on each turtle comes from the “first to fall” turtle, whom I won’t mention for those who haven’t read the Last Ronin yet (you might have guessed it by now)
