Yes I was hoping you would review this. I think I’ll add this to the knife shop. Should be great for shaping an contouring handles Have you tested it to see how much torque it has, Does it bog down easy?
I picked up one today (02/22/24) on sale for 34.99 with coupon and then bought the 2 year warranty for 11. I will definitely be using it for my other hobbies. It's my first Dremel rotary tool. I mounted it to a 10" long piece of 3/4 pine. I can clamp that pine whoever I need.
Nice form factor. Does it only use proprietary Bauer batteries or is it compatible with other battery brands? Battery cost? That's where they hit ya hard in the wallet typically.
Thanks for watching Joe! Bauer batteries are very affordable and reliable. That’s the main reason I stay with Bauer. There are third party adapters made that allow Dewalt and Milwaukee batteries to be used with Bauer products
I am DEEP into the dewalt 20v system as a master electrician. There are a few things dewalt just doesn't make, most are just for home use. The rotary tool is one. I am not getting into the dewalt other voltage systems either. So trip to HF after ordering battery adapters. Brad nailer, rotary tool, planer, and jig saw on clearance. All for less then half of the price of the dewalt brad nailer(tool only). Have used them all a bit so far and like i told the better half they aren't gonna survive a tumble off an 8' ladder most likely. Which my dewalts have plenty of times. At a fraction of the price for home use though I'll take it. Although i do think HF is beginning to forget it's place. The Bauer 5AH batteries are currently 3 cents more then the dewalt 5AH batteries are.
Definitely understandable from where you're coming from for my year and a half experience as being a tradesman framer and finisher I have dropped my impacts from two stories and they still work the only thing that I think is a little bit of BS is every time when they think that it's a good idea to slap a light on it it's trash 🗑️ the lights break very easy but everything else has been a pretty good powerhouse and I've had batteries fall while I've been doing trusses and the funny part is I've had them split open cracked and hanging on a thread and still working and finishing my jobs and I've been able to return them and get new ones .. but as far as the tool goes they have been doing a pretty good job for me considering how much I have dropped them LOL one time I was 40 feet up in the air with a 10-in saw and I put a 16 inch blade on it and I dropped it from the top of the tree because I took it off of my ghetto harness and she still working the only thing that is a little crappy with the saw though is in my opinion the ability for swapping out different lengths of blades it was a pain in the ass and considering that I had the fabricate my own thing to make that work not very universal and a little proprietary
But I pretty much have the full lineup for all of their tools the only thing that I can say that I'm not very fond about in my opinion is the fact that their saws are not that great compared to some of these dewalt's that I work with what I wish they would do and copy from Makita is the double battery combo on a tool to where you can put your two 18 volts considering it would be the 20 volts but in the same premise so they could go and get a little bit more juice out of them and do some more damage batteries But one thing that I am very fond of that I do love is their battery miter saw that thing is a champ I've cut through 10×4 Hardwood and I was doing fantastic Not going to lie the homies were kind of impressed with my Jew tools😂😂😂 the ironic part is the only thing that they have is just a DeWalt drill and impact and I got the whole line up if anybody needs anything definitely can't beat convenience for the price especially for the pinch
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ ...and then ya keep having these ITC deals so I almost HAVE to buy something dang near weekly. I definitely need to order a couple more battery adapters. I got the tire inflator a couple weeks ago. That thing is great so I don't have to pull the mower or wagon or whatever to a vehicle or by the shop to use them compressors. Got the glue gun too, with a 30% off coupon why not. The trim router I brought straight home, used a 6x12 piece of ¼"lexan and a couple drawer knobs and had a better baseplate in a couple hours after polishing the edges. I reckon I'll be adding the crown stapler as well so I can keep 1½" staples in it and ¾-1" brad nails in the nailer, it will streamline builds a lot. I also plan on why not getting the little chainsaw and string trimmer. Would be great for quick little things instead of dragging out the 16 or 24" saw.
@@jesusaguilar645one thing to keep in mind is rotary tools, ALL of them, are high rpm low torque. If ya hear it start bogging down to much lighten the pressure applied. They just cant stand up to heavy loads. Even the best foredom shaft power carvers($300+ price range) can't handle a heavy load.
I need one of these! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching! Works very well!

Thanks for watching! Was using it this evening, lots of torque didn’t bog down

Good review. I bought one but I wanted to see someone handling it before I gave it a go. Thank you.
Thanks for Watching!
