The fingers are kinda disappointing but goddamn, this is one helluva toy. Definitely a must buy

Hi Kuma! I got mine just today and this figure is gorgeous. But one thing that always makes me hesitate to buy figures from Sentinel and Flametoys is that their joint design tend to be friction joint and over time, they just wear out and becomes flop. I would like to know if there's anything you do to keep the joints tight. Thanks!
Sorry for the late response but just seeing this... I haven't experienced joint wear yet but if I did I wouldn't know where to even start with fixing since all of the screws are hidden, honestly.
Great review! Great figure but mine arrived finally today even though it had a delivery date of last Thursday, and I open it to find his mask is broken, the battle damaged mask had a broken part on the tallest point on left side, the end is barely hanging on. But everything else is perfect.
Thanks man and yea I tried to warn about handling by those mask ends, man...
@@KumaStyle yeah you did, I wish it wasn't broken in the box before I could be careful with it lol, but luckily I have the bonus mask for the time being. I'm glad I watched your review before it arrived today so that I wasn't surprised about those fingers falling off. I contacted D4TOYS about trying to get a replacement for the mask as I did not break it but they may not be able to do anything about it and in that case I will contact Flame Toys directly.

Highly anticipated review KS. Great job. However, I did remove it from my pre-order list prior to seeing this & still on the fence about purchasing Tarn. Drift is worth every penny but the fingers on Tarn are really disappointing & look frustrating.
Yea.. it's a tough one for me. I'm not a big fan of the pop out aspect but as stated I'd rather have an easy pop out vs. breakage... I do much prefer the articulated hands over the hand swapping method on Drift, though. It's much more convenient and does look very good.
Man at TFCon chicago I went with Riobot Shin Getter black version instead of this guy really kinda regretting it lol even tho getter has awesome diecast and giant wings..
I would check out the original colored Shin Getter as well, man. IMO it's the prettier of the two.

Do you happen to know how to take care of die cast figures in the long run ? I've always been scared of them deteriorating/oxidizing in the future since they're metal.

Is anyone having issues with the leg joints being loose? For some reason mine can’t do any of the poses without it falling over. Seriously any of the poses you did, I wish mine could do 😅

Use a ruler and answer that.

Not at all. I don't much review models but if I did I'd try to say something to distinguish it.
Did you order through D4toys? I’m assuming you did since you got the bonus accessories. How much was the shipping if I may ask? I’m thinking about getting the upcoming Star Saber and not sure which retailer I want to order from. Great review btw.
Thank you for the compliment and I appreciate it but I do have to ask why you didn't just go to the site, load up the cart, and proceed to checkout without actually ordering what you want in order to check the price? That's how you get that information for any retailer you want to check pricing on.

I'm all for companies packing as much into a box as possible so same team there but I'm just saying I understand why stores do exclusive items too.
