    I'm thinking I should make a video when I restore the sprayer compressor I've got coming from ebay. You've got a very nice collection and it looks like you've done a great job repainting and repairing your pieces!

      The sprayer and air compressor are two of the rarest implements foe the walking tractor, I am sure david bradley fans would like to see the restoration of those items, I know I would. Looking forward to seeing your video.
      I have a small air compressor and tank I am mounting on my tractor this summer to use spray painting some of my yard art, and I might make a video of it.

      @@billywatson8931 unfortunately I haven't found a sprayer tank and wand yet, the compressor is frozen solid according to the seller, whos yet to ship it to me. My tractor is currently not running as well, since I'm missing the wheels due to the previous owner scrapping parts off of it for pocket change. Any chance you know where I can get a set of rims that would fit?

    • @billywatson8931
      @billywatson8931  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@WH32R As for the wheels, a 5 lug 15" chevy. truck wheel will work on the 3 lug DB tractor. From the pictures I have seen of the sprayer it looks like a 20 gallon steel drum cut in half.
      I an using a plastic tank with a demand 12V pump, the tank i have is much larger than I need, but that's what I had.
      You can see the sprayer at ( David Bradley spraying sugar cane ) . This year I am installing different spray nozzles and I already have the on off switch installed on the left handlebar.

      @@billywatson8931 Mine will most likely be set up for topping up tires when I am at shows and to maybe run a small paint gun. I'll have to keep an eye out for a set of those rims, for now I have a set off a 95 bronco on it so I can roll it around the shop.

    Could you do a video on how to convert a single bottom plow to a middle buster?

      OK, I will try to explain how I built the middle buster plow that I use, It will take me a few weeks to video and post.

    Just bought a DB for $25 at a yard sale with sickle blade mower, single plow and cultivator. I know its a early model # 917.5751. Series # 154. How can I tell what year it is?

      You got a real deal on the tractor and Equpment .
      with the last numbers in the 51 then your tractor will be Maby a 1946,
      if so it will have a spring clutch and 16" wheels
      dose it have a hood?
      the plow and cultivator are the main ground working tools, The sickle bar mower is not much use.

    • @tl1635
      @tl1635 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@billywatson8931 I got there when they were cleaning up and he didn't want to drag it back to the shed lol. It has a spring lock clutch. If I did my research right. (no spring on the rod that engages the clutch. Just 2 nuts.) and it has 16" wheels.

    • @billywatson8931
      @billywatson8931  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You got a verry good deal, If it has a hood they look good but are more trouble than they are worth, I talked to an old guy that had a DB hood hanging on the wall, he said he took it off the tractor because it was just in the way. It sounds like it has tires on the tractor. save them if you can, they are expensive to replace.
      I am looking for you to make a video of your work progress

    • @tl1635
      @tl1635 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@billywatson8931 yeah I can see where the hood is more trouble than it's worth. The tires are falling apart unfortunately... thats the big draw back of this project. I have been searching for a cheap set.. Other than that its all there and should be cheap to get looking good and functional again.

    What you called cultivators, the blue one and the other beside it are REALLY called discs, and the 2 wing plows are called Listers

    Hey Billy, You sure have a great collection. Do you show your collection at tractor shows?

    • @billywatson8931
      @billywatson8931  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Sorry I didn't answer sooner , Yes I have taken some of my stuff to local shows, but most of the shows are so far that I need to pull the camper and that dose not leave much room in the back of the truck.
      My main reason for repairing and painting the implements was so that some day later on they wouldn't be hauled off for scrap metal.

    What types of engines do you use

    • @billywatson8931
      @billywatson8931  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The engine I am using on my work tractor # 57561 is a harbor fright 3HP . because it fits under the hood, Take the hood off and you can use a large verity of engines .(The hood is more trouble than its worth.) but it looks good.
      I use a 1 1/2" pully on the motor to go slow and give more power, I can also use 1 3/4" -__2"__2 1/2" __ 3" pully depending on what I am doing.
      Some times when I am attending a tractor show I will bolt on a briggs model N or a Continental AU7 for a correct look.
