  • These LED Smart Flares are an emergency roadside LED flare kit to keep in your car, truck, RV, motorcycle or boat. Also great for hikers and tenters, they are a great compact and lightweight light to ensure you are seen if you find yourself stranded on the side of the road, which increases your safety. In this week’s video review, Marc from RVLove gives an overview of the features and specs of these Solar Flares, and why we think it is a great piece of safety equipment for anybody to have in their vehicle, RV, boat or motorcycle. We have seen the price range from about $20-30 on Amazon for a two pack and includes batteries and storage case.

PLEASE NOTE: At the time of publishing this video, the Magnatek brand Flares (as mentioned and shown) are no longer showing as available from Amazon. We have included the link for an identical LED Smart Flare kit, which shows a different brand name, but otherwise appears to be EXACTLY the same as the product we ordered and reviewed here. The price is showing as around $18, compared to the $25 we paid in August. The Magnatek product is now showing as Currently Unavailable and Amazon is unable to confirm if these will be available again. Hence, we suggest you order the SlimK Flares as based on our research, these do appear to be identical. Apologies for any inconvenience and please leave a comment if you have any questions.

You do a lot of talking and not a lot of demonstrating. Why did you not spend more time showing this product a night, when this will be used the most? You had a 2 second clip filmed right next to the product, so yes it looked bright. Why not film at night at about 100-500 ft away?
