    Where can I see that "Home" scene you showed at the beginning ?

  • @cashee5260
    @cashee5260 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have a lot of trouble with the camera. It's hard to move the camera to where I need it to be. The snap camera doesn't work outside of tutorial mode for me. I find myself getting very frustrated and eventually having to take multiple breaks because the camera controls are giving me a headache. When trying to place something on the ground, I find myself so far away from what I'm working on and getting close enough again seems to cause more frustration. I can't seem to get a clear view of what I'm doing either because of all of the guides that pop up under your imp. I'm really new to this so if you could maybe go over things you ran into when starting out, it would really help. I know I'm only one person making a request but is there a way for you to do a video on camera movements? I can't find anything in depth on here or maybe what I'm searching is just sending me to videos not even related to the question. This is my biggest barrier and extremely demotivating.

    Are there any shortcuts for the stretch tool? Like if I am in sculpt mode and I am holding a cube in stamp mode...is there a way to stretch the cube to a specific shape and then stamp with that shape.? As opposed to having to stamp the cube first, navigate to the stretch tool, select the cube, and then stretch it.

    • @SakkusMind
      @SakkusMind  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes there is a shortcut for that. While holding a sculpture in your hand press L1 + Square and you get into the edit mode of this sculpture, it allows you to stretch it and also a few other important options on the top (like softblending, looseness etc.) ^^

      @@SakkusMind Thanks! Love your channel. I just started playing dreams and your channel helps a lot so keep up the awesome videos!

  • @aaronh248
    @aaronh248 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Curious about something. You mention cloning in edit saves on gameplay Thermo? How is that possible? Does it no longer count multiple sculpts in edit as their individual parts and instead just 1 thing?

    • @SakkusMind
      @SakkusMind  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      How the thermo works in Dreams is indeed super confusing and I don't even know how some things work yet but I guess it has to do with it being 1 sculpt instead of multiple, smearing works similar there.

    I like all your videos and share them as much as possible Sakku. I wanted to ask you though do you ever use moves?
    I feel for any organic thing like you did there witht the curve tool it so much easier to position as you have an amazing 1:1 tactile feel when you use them. Look at how Martin or KeldBjones work with them.
    As always keep up the good work work mate. Love what your doing.
    I'm ott share this in all my social media now. ❤️

    • @SakkusMind
      @SakkusMind  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so so much for your continued support Eddie! I really appreciate you sharing my videos since I also put a lot of effort into them! =)
      Also to answer your question: I have the moves but I only used them for drawing so far, it's just that I didn't really get into them yet but after I finsished my professional work, I wanna grind them and get better so I'll probably soon make a switch since I wanna use even more painting and also smearing in my creations :)

    • @eddieandersson5570
      @eddieandersson5570 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SakkusMind About smearing with moves, did you see the amazing smear trick with the curve tool Martin discovered?
      It's a game changer. And you can only do it with moves.

    The thermometer (graphic memory) fills up immediately, any solution?

  • @AleksiPorkka
    @AleksiPorkka 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi again.. how do you keep your sculpts still and not rotating or moving everywhere ever so slightly due to the motion sensor?

    • @SakkusMind
      @SakkusMind  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's a few things, first we have over 1 year of practice with the motion controls and you will definitely need some practice with it but it's worth it! Then when moving on the grid it's easier to move it straight and another thing is that you can slightly hold R2 for a softer movement :)

    • @AleksiPorkka
      @AleksiPorkka 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SakkusMind Oh well, I do have a stable artist's hand both in my music and drawing type of stuff, but I am totally a newbie in sculpting :-)... Thanks for the tips, already knew them though! I might focus on music stuff in dreams instead 😉

    These videos would help me SOOO much more if you actually talked and explained what you’re doing and WHY you’re doing it. Such as John beech does during the MM streams. I always learn so much from those streams because they’re so good at talking us and walking us through it. These aren’t that helpful to me when I’m just watching someone make something without saying a word.
    That being said I don’t mean any offense. I love your creations and videos. I just thought I’d put in what I’m thinking ☺️

    • @SakkusMind
      @SakkusMind  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1
