I was looking into getting one of those but wanted to check some reviews first. I came across yours and I'm glad I did. I've decided NOT to get one now and go with a full back-drop screen (I really don't want to do all that post work to fill in the corners) so I'm glad I did this. Cheers!
As a developer, this has inspired me to write a plugin for obs to remove a green screen. Or maybe even create a virtual camera myself that applies filters. I think it could help to show a band of colors that it can remove. So rather than choosing a straight color. Choose a hue (as in Hue, Saturation, Lumen) and show the band that will be removed and have the ability to widen that band. And probably widen the band of the hue a itself.
This was perfect and answered questions I had. Plus, I have the EXACT same chair. You also confirmed what I already knew. It just isn't quite large enough to be useful for an HD camera. Looking at other options since I not only have a YT channel but I guest on other channels frequently enough that it would be an issue since I'm not going through my setup.
It is recommended not to change the position or rotation of the chroma background and the focus object in case the person is in a position just to not move the chair and the portable chroma screen and if necessary crop it if moving to follow only one camera ip and with a light projection also swivel to accompany
I would like this but a U-shape one. Anyone knows where to buy one? Imagine you're standing behind the chair looking down. You'll see the arms and the back form a U-shape. I want a bigger 'U' that surrounds the chair.
You can’t be too close to the green screen. Also the lighting has to be right. This attachment on a seat will not work well at all. You can’t be so close to cast shadows on the screen. Once I figured that out I looked so much better on Zoom I had no crazy edges or black trail marks.
This was great. I don't know anything about green screen. But, can you use zoom backgrounds without a screen? Do they work? I would add that info in there. :)
i just want to use this with zoom for meetings, trainings and such and am still having such a hard time with this and I don't know if it's my crappy webcam but it all just looks really glitchy and i almost look like a ghost in front of the background...i feel really stupid in trying to set this up, but I got no instructions or anything...all i got was the screen and have had to figure everything out on my own.

This is what I was trying to find out how these new streamers are filming. Thanks this was very helpful!

Thanks for the video
Great info, thank you.
Thank you, this was very helpful!
Hey, do you get the black part of your headset to show so clear? Mine is all fuzzy when I use my black headset with my green screen.
Not so sure what you mean. Is it fuzzy when you use virtual backgrounds? Might need better lighting.

You said circumference but you meant diameter. If the circumference is 52, then the diameter would only be 16.5 inches
yezzir! indeed I did, thank you for the correction!!
The beauty of pi.
