I have used box dyes, mine was ginger, filmed it on my channel, I loved that colour but I dyed it dark brown, and dyed some red, tips That was sad to see your thinning locs, but you will bounce back will be following your journey, but your beautiful either way!!

I'm sorry this happened to you. I've been so against bleaching until recently getting my first full head color. My loctitian had never done it before without bleach so it felt like a financial risk If the color didn't lift. I just pray I don't regret it. I don't think I ever bleach my whole head again. And yes, nothing beats our natural color! 🖤🤎

Definitely a myth. I have the plainest locs ever and I STILL get compliments on my hair. My hair is my natural color brown and sun colored on the ends/tips. People will say, OMG, your locs are so beautiful... You inspire me...
You will stand out because YOU are beautiful. Has nothing to do with your hair.

Omg you look amazing. I know you see damage but the right loctician can help make repairs!

This is sad. I just don’t understand. I’ve been running across so many of these videos. You beautiful ladies invest so much time (YEARS) growing beautiful locs and end up ruining them with bleach.🤦🏽‍♀️ This just hurts my feelings.😢…SIGH.

Appreciate the realness! I’m not the best at taking care of my hair either. My issue is with lint everytime I see it (mostly towards the ends and the back) I just want to cut them. Not all off but like a bob or something you know ? I have some length and that’s what’s really stopping me from doing it but Maan shoot 😒 Anyway, whatever you decide to do move forward and towards it with wisdom and grace! Hell, nothing wrong with starting over..

Thanks for tuning in and sharing 💜 I remember wanting to cut my locs into a bob sooo bad, then I just got the loc bob style and fell in love! (Doesn’t solve your lint issue though sorry)

I know my advice wasn’t asked but I cut the back off and trimmed certain locs with lint and now they are growing back nicely!

Also I do think alot of oil can attract lint in the back

Looks strong just needs a lil attention. Just dye the new growth and “rinse” for the even color look. Great video!

Great video Dara!!! Your locs are still beautiful 😍 I am currently on my second set (17 months) and I couldn’t be more happier!! It is definitely ok to start over love. My first set, I used permanent black hair dye every 2 months and left it in for an hour, every time 🤦🏽‍♀️ hence why I am on loc journey number 2. You will look beautiful which ever way you go!!! 💕💕💕

Thanks for tuning in and also for your kind words of encouragement!! I needed that 🥰 is your 2nd set the same as your first (size and parts)?

@@daradoes No problem at all!! 💕
My first set was the same size now. I originally had 67. I combined to 32 🤦🏽‍♀️ I wanted thicker locs, but I have fine hair. Big mistake. Free parting also. My set I have now, I have 66 with somewhat square parting 🥰

Would you try to do a protein treatment with Aphogee to see if it helps with breakage
