Personally “I cannot see ahead, but I cannot keep standing still” hits me. It’s how I feel working toward my MA in a world where my industry (teaching) has been completely changed due to corona. Each one hits different though. The one after, “can’t lay the blame on you, but I cannot forgive you” reminds me of how I feel toward my abusive parents. Being an adult, I’m responsible for my actions now, but I can’t forgive them for the damage they caused.
so this got me to look up a bunch of other kinetic typography videos, and i have to say that i'm quite disappointed that they all tend to just be variations on text simply appearing adjacent to and at odd angles to text already on screen. there was one using Stephen Fry talking about language that really worked using that method, but it's just so dull and unimaginative for all the other songs i've found. all of this is to say: a genuine and most sincere kudos to you for creating a kinetic typography video that actually makes use of the medium's potential.

Hey, i'm really trying sooooo hard to get into this game, but my modern brain is far too used to games being decently designed lol So, any of you veterans have any advice to start playing the game? Git gud isn't advice
My actual advice would be to retrace the steps From modern persona (aka 3-5), start playing the more intense SMT games, which IMO would be (in order from least intense to most), IV, IV Apocalypse (actually Apocalypse is easier but it's a sequel), Nocturne, devil survivor, digital devil saga 1 and 2, Strange Journey, and I would stop there. Doing this would slowly rip your comfort with modern "helper" in smt games and get you comfortable with older ones. Then, play Persona 2 IS then EP, then play one After that you'll realise that all of this was not worth it cause P1 is still pretty bad compared to other SMT games.
I always loved those background lyrics "I can't believe in you, but I cannot forget you."
Hatychify same
they're actually my favorite part of the whole song
Yeah, same.
Sorry if you get offended by this but I see it as how I see a religion's gods. I can't believe in them but I won't forget them

but because of this i really appreciate motion graphics more, thank you!
Great use of the medium. While doing it's own thing you can still feel it honoring the opening movie it ajoins. Great work.
Well done, like the use of layering and interspersal of kanji and English. Would love to see one for Persona 5!
This sounds so nostalgic but I only started playing Persona last year?
